I'm fine with him being in there. I tried to build Tamarand to have a moderately solid AC and the total concealment helps him tremendously.

[sblock=ooc]Hmmm yeah, that bear makes a solid plug! Too bad the other way out is through backstage and Roswyn! Although, Rohna herself is still very close to back stage. I can try dropping hypnotic pattern in there, and Rohna can maybe get there to plug the other exit. That would work pretty well.

Using Hypnotic Pattern to keep them in the Tempest is not as great as it could be, since they both trigger at the start of the enemies' turn, if the pattern pulls them back into the zone, I don't think they take damage. But it'll still be helpful if you maintain the zone, slowing them would be helpful, and keeping them in the room seems like a decent idea anyhow.

As far as whether to slide them... I'm not sure it really matters. Maybe it helps marginally to move them back from the opening, so that if the hypnotic pattern misses them, they have a harder time getting out to Roswyn. But it's not a big deal. (I suppose they might try to take down the bear, too.)

I'll go back and edit Roswyn's original action in a little bit.[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]Is it really our turn? I don't think the kobold have acted.

Evo's post was a resume of everything we've done but I saw nothing about the kobold?

Tondrek, confuses by all the sudden motion, tries to suss out what is going on.[sblock=OOC]Yeah, delaying until after the K's are done sounds peach.[/sblock]

Shava, instinctively ducks down as she hears the ice javelin come streaming by her. Missile combat was very common on the open air. She takes the onslaught in quickly planning her next move. That Drow might just be showing me up. Apparently I need that dagger more than I thought. . . but what is it exactly? No matter, he may be useful but I still need to show my stuff. She turns her head slightly and offers the drow a light smile before rushing forward, she reaches down, scoops up her dagger and doubles back towards the far wall, starring into the room where she knew the wizard hid. I see you.

"What?!" She considered briefly following the order anyway, to not upset the command structure. She dismissed the thought. I'm not about to squeeze into a small room with the guy who throws acid, especially since it will open me up to attacks on at least two sides. Shava peered over but just couldn't see a way to get in without being immedaitely attacked. "Perhaps it may be best to keep them in." She said, mainly to herself.

Another flash of light crossed her eyes, as she held out her dagger and focused on the room. The winds suddenly pick near the entrance to the room, slamming items and furniture this way and that. They reach out with an unnatural hunger, tearing into the wizards flesh and dragging him towards the bear. The heavily armored kobolds bear down facing the winds and the flying debris as the tables in the room are thrown againt the far wall, shattering into several pieces.

[sblock=ooc]howling tempest on K(g9) (1d20+8=16). Misses both K's.

Roswyn gapes briefly at the hole blown in the wall. She prepares to launch a spell at the exotically garbed kobold thus exposed, but before she can, screams and thunder sound from the main room, distracting her attention. She looks back towards the hole just in time to see the apparent kobold leader blown sidewise in a whirling gust of wind and shattered furniture, while his bodyguard used his shield to protect itself from the raging air."Shava! So glad you could join us," she mutters to herself with grim amusement. "Maybe I can help keep those scum trapped in your lovely little storm..."

The gnome orients her new orb towards the hole in the wall. Kaleidescopic energy surges out, streaking into the back room and coalescing into a semi-translucent, rainbow-colored image of a nude kobold dancer. The dancer writhes and grinds enticingly, powerfully pulling the attention of the nearby gangsters. The spellcaster and it's bodyguard stare enticingly at the illusional dancer and move towards it, reaching out for it, despite the whirling winds around them.

Seeing it as only a figment of their imagination, they turn around. The wizard steps away, throws and orb of acid at Shava, which explodes against the wall behind her. The wizard then steps out of the back room. It's bodyguard follows, moving closer to Roswyn. The wizard, yells over the still howling winds, "I'm deaf. Defend me you idiot!"

[sblock=ooc]
save vs deaf (1d20=2) acid orb vs shava (1d20+9=15, 1d10+5=7)

The doorman atop the stage shivers and falls over, shattering into many pieces as the cold energy in it's blood kills it. The spear wielder moves around the tables, waiting for an ally to flank with it. That moment doesn't take long as the dragonshield steps forward to attack the dragonmarked woman. The spear just grazes her hip as she flexes to get out of the way. The dragonshield's thrusts, ducking as the woman's dagger flashes, and brings the tip of the blade into her armpit. The kobold taunts her, grabbing her attention.

s attack Shava, D attack Shava (1d20+11=21, 1d8+1=2, 1d20+12=17, 1d6+4=10) 12 damage to Shava.[/sblock]

save vs cold, s; k (1d20=1, 1d20=19) S does not save, K does though.[/sblock]

Four more kobolds stream from the room on the right, they move toward the stage, pulling javelins and hurling them at the lone goliath on the stage. The second group hurl a volley as well, slightly dimming the light in the room as they reach their peak near the lights. The goliath is able to deflect the first couple but two find their mark. The first strikes her just above the knee, the second grazes her cheek, and the third, makes it through her armor into her side. The rest of the javelins stick in the stage, just short of the mark, waving slightly from the impact. The two kobolds at the front of the stage step up and move forward. The pair behind them flip up the tables for cover.

[sblock=ooc]8 javs, 2 hits. 8 damage(after the DR). 8 M's vs Rohna (1d20+6=24, 1d20+6=15, 1d20+6=12, 1d20+6=20, 1d20+6=20, 1d20+6=26, 1d20+6=23, 1d20+6=16) [/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]Is the above post including the kobolds round 2 actions? If so then can we get it marked as "acted" for a clear picture of where we are in the round if you please? :D Do you want me to drop the wizard or push him back into the storm cloud? Im pretty sure that he is the only one that can hurt my bear, so having him gone sooner rather than later would be very good.

[sblock=ooc]I will sustain the Storm next round, and move it if wanted. I'm kinda stuck so will most likely burn my action point to second wind and attack.[/sblock]

Seeing the Stormy Half-Elf in pain, Tondrek scrambles over nex to her, near the spear-kobold. He takes out a small vial of his own essence and rubs it at her, the alchemical fluids it emits restoring some vitality. Then, with a yell of Bad spear-dragon-lizard-small-guy!, he channels magic into his staff and uses a short thrust to try to knock the little guy out. The magic of the strike wraps around Shava, seeming to bolster he power as well.[sblock=OOC Re: Healing (Everyone)]I just realized that someone needs to have spent a HS to recharge Tondrek's healing power. I don't think folks spent them when he healed them (they shouldn't). If you did, let me know, and I'll consider that a recharge. For now, I'll dock one from T so we have at least one to use.[/sblock][sblock=Actions]Move to I13; minor to [color=#AA255]Healing Infusion[/color] on Shava: She regains health as if using an HS+3 w/o spending a HS. Then Magic Weapon vs S: AC 20, 11 nonlethal, and Shava gains +1 to hit and +3 to damage attacks until end of Tondrek's next turn. If S is still up, Tondrek will spend an AP to use a minor action to get Doggie next to him (under the table at G11); if not, he won't spend it yet.[/sblock][sblock=Tondrek]Tondrek—Male Half-orc Artificer 6
