Seeing Doggie collapse does not make Tondrek's face any happier. He slams his staff on the ground angrily, causing the elemental to tear off a flaming heap of trash and toss it at the gnome. The rubbish, apparently containing something volatile, bursts into flame! Meanwhile, Tondrek steps back while taking a moment to infuse some healing.
''I don't feel like being original. I stick with the tried and true.'' Brenron says, sending two more bolt of lightning toward his enemies. The first bolt misses the gnome above them badly. The second slams into the chest of the captain, wracking his body with convulsions, and blackening his plate armor.
The captain steps next to Rohna, choking up on his glaive to bring it bear in the flank with the gnome. The steel blade connects with Rohna, but she barely feels it through the heat of battle.

The guard captain yells out to strike at the gnome flanking, and he obliges, finding a small gap in the goliath's defenses, this time the warrrior felt it. The assassin reverses his momentum and slashes again, but this time Rohna is ready and slams her shield down on it's forearm, deflecting the strike.

The wind swirls around the gnome above battering him with more debris. Finding his footing he swings again with his pick at the half-elf. The sorceress shouts an arcane word that sounds like thunder, but the pick still manages to land on her forearm, cleaving off a piece of flesh. The creature smiles and steps out of the storm.

The pair of gnomes on the opposite bridge reload their crossbows and fire at the wizardess. The first one slashes a bloody line across her cheek. The other bolt, from the finger wagger, flies well wide and a look of disappointment crosses his face.
