Scun raises an eyebrow. "Good attitude there, Sashal. Here. it's time that we all drank some water. Bring out your containers everybody."

Scun casts create water to fill up the party's supplies before they head on.

(ooc: Just for flavor mostly, I assume he's been doing it automatically on a regular basis in the desert.)

(OOC: Right, I'm thinking he has been doing so as well)

*Sashal takes a sip of water.*

"Fate willing, I have endured to whet my thirst with water. May we all last to see the next day as well."

"Well, this creature is an aspect of our past that will not be pursuing us." Anton stands from inspecting the creature and goes to partake in the water. "Thank you, Scun. I am ready to go, now."

ooc: Green Ranger gains a level. Um, Anton, I mean. Now that I have spells (woo!), would Endure Elements or Longstrider help speed up travel?
EDIT: Or, even better, a camel animal companion?

(OOC: Longstrider is self-only, but forcing Thurgan to ride a camel would speed up travel. However, getting the camel takes time. Endure Elements helps allow people to wear heavier armour while travelling)

[sblock=OOC]Well, RAW is silent as to how long it takes to acquire your first animal companion, saying only that "a ranger gains an animal companion"... it takes 24 hours to acquire a new animal companion. I'm not sure why there'd be any delay in acquire the first animal companion (the way I see it, I've waited three levels for it already), but I suppose it's up to you to decide on the time period. it'd be nice if you told me how long it'd take, anyway.

Assuming Thurgan rode the camel, I also have the option of the Living EN World Rgr1 spell Tireless Journey (http://www.enworld.org/showpost.php?p=2464583&postcount=14)[sblock=Tireless Journey]Tireless Journey
Transmutation
Level: Drd 1, Rgr 1, Bard 1
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 minute
Range: Touch
Target: You plus one willing humaniod per two caster levels
Duration: 24 hours
Favored by journeyers of all types, this spell allows a traveler to move at a higher speed for an entire day without tiring. It has no effect on a character's base speed, and does not remove fatigue from other sources, nor the penalties for a forced march. However, for all overland travel, the character can move at her hustle speed for as long as she could normally walk, and her run speed for as long as she could normally hustle.
-Created by Kahuna Burger[/sblock]I'm not sure what'd be the most efficient way of doing this, though.[/sblock]

(OOC: I'd say it's definitely 24 hours. I've had several games with Rangers who reached 4 (both as a GM and player, most recently a Shackled City game), and I've never seen it played any other way

Tireless Journey would work if he could get it on more people)

ooc: On the contrary, I've never played it where you had to wait 24 hours. :heh: So, I could Tireless Journey the slower characters, and endure elements on characters that would like to wear heavier armor, right? How many walking characters are there, currently?

(OOC: We have everyone except Cade walking, right? But Scun and Rillian go 40 when in light or no armour. So with Thurgan on the camel and Scun and Rillian with light or no armour, you'd need to Tireless Journey yourself and Sashal, which, with caster level of 2, is exactly the amount you can target. This should double the group's speed from its current one)

ooc: Meaning, losing a day to get the camel is worth it? If every agrees, sounds good to me.
