(Adventure) Immortality Awakens (Knight Otu Judging) Part II

Thurgan Hammer, Dwarven Crafter

After delivering the unused water, Thurgan just watched as Cade and Sykhia left to the tavern downstairs. Instead of following, Thurgan returned to his room to get some sleep, but only after securing the door and setting something to fall if the door is opened.

"Well...if he put some kind of curse with a trigger on me, it would be bad. But there isn't really anyone around here who could do anything about it, as I said...Valaryn had some magical talent, but..."

Tandi sighed and shook her head as Cade brought Sykhia down. She half listens to their conversation and part of her has a hard time not believing her words. Perhaps they did commit a crime unknowingly. She didn't want to think about it. There was too much here that was hidden and she knew it. He training wanted her, no begged her to find it all out. Taking another sip of her tea, she listened further to see what Cade could figure out.

Rystil Arden said:

Cade nods in understanding. "We'll find someone, it's just better safe than sorry you know? There's been enough tragedy today, not be needin' any more."

Cade reaches for one of the glasses, "Those look refreshing."

*Sykhia hands Cade the smaller, halfling-sized glass.*

"Yes...I don't want to see any more tragedy for a long time..." she takes a little spoon and stirs her drink daintily as she speaks, "Anyway, you probably need to be on your way to help the little girl from Orussus, so I won't keep you any longer. You go ahead."

"No, I'm gonna see this through first. It's only right considerin...well... you know..." Cade says. He stirs the drink and then takes a sip, "That is good."

"So, what do you plan to do now, particularly now?"

"I'm going to escape Larue...I'm going to go somewhere far away, and never come back. It's the only way to escape without endangering Daddy and the people of the town."

"Well, I made you an offer before. There's a little girl who could use someone to look after her, and she's pretty far away."

"You seem to be in a hurry to get rid of us. It's late, we won't be leaving till at least tomorow. And I don't like to leave things unfinished. There's still some loose ends around you, and I intend to help you see them through."
