(Adventure) Immortality Awakens (Knight Otu Judging) Part II

ooc: I'm just curious, while we glossed over the events of the night, we did specify that we would be keeping watch on Sykhia. How did she get from being watched, into the carraige?

Anton is rubbing his head in annoyance. "... I think we have a problem here. Can we first talk with Sykhia, just us and her?"

"Well, you don't have horses, so we shall have to walk. I doubt that we shall be able to catch up to that carriage. It seems to be moving at far too quick a pace. Nonetheless, I am sure you will be able to speak to the lady presently when we reach the estate."

ooc: He pointed to the carriage--it's close enough to see while in the middle of town, but not close enough to stop?

(OOC: Or maybe he just doesn't want to stop it? Remember, NPCs speak for themselves, not for me ;) In any case, it's off in the distance but still easily visible. The problem is that it is in motion, and it moves faster than a person walking. If someone with 40 foot movement wanted to sprint after it, they might conceivably catch up before getting winded)

ooc: Oh. Well, it still would've been nice to know that it was moving beforehand. :p A carriage is a probably roughly a huge creature size with no dex bonus, right? I think it makes more sense to send the arrow past the carriage than to hit the carriage anyway? If there are people in the way, I'll hit the carriage, but I don't know how crowded it is this early in the morning either.

As quickly as he can, Anton draws his bow, and slings an arrow past the carriage to try to get its attention and stop it. "Stop!" He yells as he's moving toward the carriage, "We are the friends who killed the evil dragon!"

(if needed) Warning to the carriage (1d20+5=20)

*The arrow flies past the carriage. The carriage driver pokes his head backwards to see who is shooting at them. He notices Anton and the others and calls backwards:*

"Woah there. Please stop shooting at us."

"Please stop! I need to speak with your passenger!" (ooc: how far away are they?)
