"Not sure actualy. Brando, or Sansovold, or somethin. Don't think I ever asked 'im."

OOC: Cade never did know as far as I know, other than overhearing it once.

"That will probably suffice, and you seem not to be lying. I will not fault you due to poor memory. The guard will show you my lady, and then you will leave the family to their grief? Oh and please be quiet--my mother is sick."

*After confiscating his weapons, the guard takes Cade inside, where he sees Sykhia talking to her father in a room where they are mixing together a few vials and treating an old woman in bed with a poultice.*

*Once Cade has seen this, the guard turns and directs him back out.*

Cade turns to the guard, "May I at least see Larue before I leave? I wish to make sure a warning is passed on to him so he can take mesures to save his people."

*The guard shrugs.*

"I don't have the authority to do that. After you go, I'll ask him if he wants to go to the balcony again to listen to you, alright? That's better than you deserve, working with the likes of that scum."

"I don't intend to work with anyone who would do something so dispicable, and would have made no attempt to prevent his capture, which is part of why I'd like to talk with Larue. Can you at least ask him if he'll talk with me?"

"I can't just leave you unguarded--let's see if I can find someone else to do it."

*The guard stops a servant who heads to find Larue, and then the servant returns and nods.*

"He will meet with you. Very well, then."

*The guard leads Cade up to a room where Larue is sitting in a chair.*

"So, what did you have to say, then, halfling?"
