*She cocks her head again and her mouth twitches as if she is about to say something, but finally she simply nods.*

Feeling the odd woman staring at her, Tandi nearly chokes on her latest sip of water. "I am known as Tandi d'Lune, Holdmistress."

 

[Rystil Arden]

*The Holdmistress does not even nod at Tandi's statement. She does not seem pleased, though.*

Cade looks around at the others with the Holdmistress, hoping for another helpful voice.

'Or am I all alone in here?'

 

[Rystil Arden]

*The man in the back looks on at the Holdmistress's vexation with a comforting glance for her. The blue-eyed woman arches an eyebrow and spares Sharassa a commiserating glance also.*

'You look concerned. Those others probably should have at least offered an apology for a lack of a gift or a statement to help assuage their zij and increase the clan's vhal, but they can get away with the highly unusual out-of-order repeating of the hostess's welcoming statement. That last girl, however, has shown nothing but dishonour with her statement. She offers nothing and simply states her name in a trailing sense as if she is entitled to receive vhal and all others have zij to her, like a spoiled princess. This is highly insulting, and she is on the razor's edge of being sent away.' the voice explains to Cade.

Anton tips his hat, "I am Anton Brandovold. May you always find water and shade, Sharassa of the Durai Lyrane, and thank you for the last minuite hospitality."

I hope you guys aren't all waiting for me... Tandi just sits there after she says her name. Unless of course she somehow hears what is being 'thought' to Cade.

"Thank you Holdmistress for your hospitality. Your people have been quite kind to us, and are indeed brave warriors as well," Cade says. "Still, our mission that brings us here is quite urgent, and we have lost much time in our travels aready. I fear we can only stay a short while."

"However, since you and your people know these lands better than us, perhaps we may ask you and your people for some assistance?"
