(Adventure) Immortality Awakens (Knight Otu Judging) Part II

*The Holdmistress is still looking towards Tandi and does not reply. Meanwhile the other two shoot brief glances at each other.*

'Oh, Outlander--That was an excellent joke you made, but it isn't the time for laughing, I'm afraid--the Holdmistress is still assessing this Tandi and whether she needs to be sent away. Her disreputable actions cast an unfavourable shadow on all your vhal--surely you will discipline her for this?'

"Tandi, I think you should thank the Holdmistress for her gift of water," Cade says.

'She is her own woman, and these ways are strange to us. Who are you? And if you're me, why do I know these things?'

Sensing something odd going on, Tandi looks up when Cade speaks to her. "I have done so by drinking it and promising no harm to her or her kin. It would have been more rude if I refused it, yes?" She says this more to Cade than anyone else, knowing full well it will more than likely irritate the Holdmistress.

'Outlander, you are going to need to send this insolent child away yourself. She is intentionally taunting now, in an attempt to test the limits of what she can get away with. Such vhal-less actions are intolerable, as she knew when she performed them, so you can save your own vhal and that of the others by doing so yourself. Otherwise, the Holdmistress shall have to send you all away,' the voice explains to Cade.

Cade walks over to Tandi, "I think you need to leave. Wait for us outside of camp, and think about your actions."

Cade whispers to Tandi "If I'm not insane, I'll explain later. Just go."

Tandi stands, her full height towering over the halfling. She makes an effort to show that she is glaring at him, but her hand ever so slightly touches his shoulder to show that she understands. "If that is what you wish."

Without saying anything further, Tandi wraps her clothes around her and heads to the outskirts of the camp.

*Tandi is escorted out of the clanhold by some of the desert people, and she is not allowed back in, as several guards watch warily until she backs a sufficient distance into the desert, alone.*

*Sharassa glances after Tandi, not at all displeased to see her go.*

"That insolent girl had no vhal at all. Your joke was amusing, Cade Jenner, and you showed at least some respect for our hospitality."

*Sharassa nods and steps back, and the man behind her moves forward.*

"I see you, Cade Jenner," he says again, "Now, you wished to speak with me before?"
