(Adventure) Immortality Awakens (Knight Otu Judging) Part II

[Rystil Arden]

"Well, you are a constant reminder of your murder of my husband," Sykhia replies, playing with her little spoon, "And it seems like you've finished with me?"

 

[Bront]

OOC: Has she touched her drink?

 

[Rystil Arden]

(OOC: You mean has she drank any of the almond wine? Not yet. She did have the water that Thurgan brought her though)

 

[Bront]

"Well, it's my turn to watch you for the moment, so I'll be here a while," Cade says.

"You haven't touched your drink. Anything wrong?" Cade says, as his is nearly finished.

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Your dwarf brought me that water before, so I'm not as thirsty. Besides, spiced wine tastes much better when it has had time to mix a bit," she stirs it a little more, "Hopefully, yours was still acceptable?"

 

[Bront]

"Quite good. Perhaps I might have a little of yours if you're not that thirsty, wouldn't want it to go to waste."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"If you like. But I didn't put enough sugar into it to drink it unless we mix it longer. Let me add some more for you. Here, give me your glass."

*Sykhia takes Cade's glass and heads back behind the counter, pouring some of her drink into the glass, adding more and mixing it up a bit with the sugar, then brings it back.*

"Here. But you shouldn't drink too much more. You're a little fellow, so the drink will get to you quickly and you'll wind up with a killer hangover tomorrow morning."

 

[Bront]

"Shouldn't you put a bit more in yours as well?" Cade asks.

'this isn't sounding right,' he thinks to himself.

 

[Rystil Arden]

"No--you said you want to drink some now, right? Well I'm willing to wait until mine is mixed right. Don't worry, I know what tastes good," Sykhia laughs slightly, "Growing up as the daughter of an innkeeper, I couldn't help but learn a little bit of the family trade, so there's a bit of both barmaid and bartender in me still."

 

[Bront]

"I thought your father was more of an alchemist than a bartender. I'm sure you picked up a little bit of that as well."
