(Adventure) Immortality Awakens (Knight Otu Judging) Part II

*The night passes with little incident, and Sykhia gets a bit of rest too, taking a short nap just before morning.*

*Eventually, the group gets ready to head on their way. As they exit the inn, a man in livery approaches them.*

"Thank you for taking care of Sykhia for milord Larue. Milord has told me to ask if you are sure that you want no reward, or even horses to continue on your journey."

Tandi wakes up with the slight feeling that something is off. As she dresses, her ears strain to hear any sign of activity coming from the rooms near hers. Getting nothing, she gathers her things and makes her way downstairs. The front door was open and she could see a gathering of people outside. That's odd. It is then she hears the messenger's voice. As much as she knew she was supposed to walk places to truly explore them, a horse sounded nice, fast and comfortable right about now.

Her normal manners escaping her for being still half-asleep, her words jumbled out. "I'll take one of those horses."

"I think some mounts and food would be good for our journy." Cade says. "I think we're goin' back ta see what the dragon had, so anything ta help get past those shrooms wound be welcome."

*The liveried man nods.*

"If you want to pass those mushrooms, you will need a special compress to protect your face from the spores. Follow me to milord's manor and we'll get you some horses, then. You'd better hurry before the grimlocks and other nasties that live deeper in that cave stumble in there."

Thurgan Hammer, Dwarven Crafter

Thurgan awoke from his second shift of sleeping and prepared for the morning. Heading downstairs he noticed the gathering of the group. Hearing that there was talk of heading to this Master Larue's place, Thurgan just grunted, not liking the sound of that. Nevertheless, he was bound to followthe decisions of the others.

Anton shrugged, "I suppose getting some supplies couldn't hurt. We can't stay at the manor too long, though. Sykhia can stay here to ... look over her father's business."

"Camels? I'm afraid not. That would be a tad unusual for this area, no? I believe milord may have a wagon or two he can spare however."

"Oh, don't worry about Miss Sykhia. She is coming with us as well. She's in the carriage over there--" he points at a carriage, "Shall we be on our way?"
