At the bottom of the round, Ratman2 goes, double moving (retreat) away from the PC's, into the complete darkness; not even Almayce can see him now.
The only party member with enough movement and vision to keep up with them is Huln. Vargo -- let me know if you want Huln to somehow try to go 1-on-1 with a Ratman. Or two.
From the other side of the party, you can hear distant noises; Ratman1 is moving around a little bit.
You have moved about 150 feet into the forest; Vargo thinks the rise/hill is about 400 feet away at this point.
We are out of combat time, unless Huln makes some sort of pursuit.
Question: what will be party do to stop a repeat ambush, occuring every 100 feet or so? What is the party going to do in general? Still head for the hill (which might or might not be more defensible)?
