Ogrin, 2/17 HP, grappling.

OOC: Aargh. I missed that note about requiring a grapple check as well. I tried the same thing in a previous adventure and succeeded; I guess it was either successful and hidden, or Nimisgod missed it as well. Anyway, mea culpa.

Edit: OOC2: Also, Ogrin didn't get to do his move action in round 2, which was the inital "target for the drop longsword/draw short sword action. If we'd just "shift the actions", that would give an extra standard action in round 4, which he'd use for an attack.

Ogrin will try to attack once more before dying, hoping for that lucky critical. Still fighting defensively.

Combat summary:
HP 2/17
To hit: +4-4-4=-4, Damage: 1D4+2, crit 19-20/x2
AC vs grappling opponent: 20+2 (fighting defensively)=22
AC vs other opponents: 20+2-3 (figting defensively, no dex)=19
Grapple check: -1

Hope that's sufficient? Not that it's going to help...

Almayce, 7 / 10 HP

Round 4: Almayce will use his wand of Cure Light Wounds (range touch) to heal Juliana 5 points. He stays out of Longtooth's reach.

OOC: Get the bastards! Kill! Zaeryl has to wait for at least one more round, since Vargo is still bleeding I think. Sorry.

(OOC: No, I agree. Leave him for last--winning is more important than stabilising Zaeryl (though I wouldn't have bothered with Hallidor first for the same reason ::shrugs::) I hope these things aren't like the 'fire toads trained to kill' that one of my players created when he tried a stint at GMing (they attacked unconscious and dying party members to finish them off before turning to the live ones. This caused the amphibians to lose the battle, but also caused significant casualties).)

OOC: Hallidor hits harder, and there can never be too many meatshields. ;) But Zaeryl isn't even close to -10 yet, so don't worry too much.

Juliana, suddently not feeling very well, is going to hold her action and simply try to keep up the flank. (She is at 0 hp at her action).

However, Almayce is going to heal her (Yeah!) so she will then, drop her flail (Free action) swap hands with the arrow (Free action), take a 5' step diagonaly towards LT (Free action), Grab her shield again (Move action, it's already on her arm), and attack with the arrow (-2 , 1d4+2, 20x2) (Standard action)

Juliana is now at 5 HP, and AC 18. Her new Initiative value should be 5 also.

BTW, does she stop bleeding once Almayce heals her?

(OOC: Yes, the wounding effect ends after a heal check or any sort of healing magic.

OOC: Cool, I thought so, just checking with the GM (He has the monsters in front of him). BTW, two, I understand completely how rough it can be to do PbP combat. You're doing pretty good, especialy if this is your first combat (I know my first combat run was kind of odd). I haven't been posting two rounds of combats because things have been changing so much between rounds Juliana needs to make sure she can react, but I'm also pretty regular about posting so hopefully I'm not slowing you guys down much :)
