Krugar leads the group out of the tavern. The warforged is nowhere to be seen. Krugar takes the group to a slightly nicer part of Khyber's Gate, that is if any part of Khyber's Gate can be called nice, and points toward a semi-elegant door.

"That's it." Krugar says and then quickly starts heading back the way it came.

Hasifar looks the orc leaving. Once he is far away, he starts explaining "Well mates, I'll tell you what I've found out, at least what the goblin told me.
It appears that one of Merric's competitors has used 'is goons against us. He has a specific competitor by the name of Ladoran who has recently been mendin' in 'is business. Ladoran is either an illusionist or a shapeshifter, Merric has not yet determined which, but the fella who accosted us received their instructions from one of Minotaur who was keepin' an eye over ya back there. The goblin claims that at the time of the meetin' where 'is men received their instructions, the Minotaur was accompanyin' 'im. He has no proof whatsoever, only that someone strong in magic or a shapeshiftin' could have convinced 'is men that the orders came from 'im. He says he is fairly well convinced that Ladoran is the one who has played both of us.
He claimed that he knew nothin' about the murders or the murderers, but he agrees with me, that the only reason that this Ladoran guy would have had to ambush us is that he is at least in some degree, guilty.
Or, he could have lied to me all the way around, and he could have been the one who sent the goons and now is misleadin' us."
Hasifar Shrugs. "I guess I'm not good at telling who is lying, but the little imp seemed sincere."

"Well if he ain't telling the truth I'll sure enjoy taking it out of his hide" Boruuk promises to nobody in particular.

Looking around, he doesn't see the warforged "Hey any of y'all seen the warforged who was tailing us? Don't really want him at our backs if we go poking around this place" the goliath cautions, "Tirial, you probably have the best eyes among us, can you spot him?"

Tirial nods at Boruuk's words and looks behind to make sure the warforged isn't attempting to follow them stealthily.

[sblock=OOC]
Whenever there is something to be seen, or an impression on a conversation, I am already using the Passive Perception or Passive Insight respectively for the PCs.

If a player wants a PC to actively look for something, or notice behavior on someone s/he is having a conversation with, the player needs to actually roll Perception or Insight.

As Knoepf listens to the conversation between Tirial and Boruuk, he scans the surrounding area for the warforged as well.

ooc: perception roll: 1d20+7= 21

Knoepf does not see the warforged, nor is there any cover or concealment outside of the tavern where the warforged could hide. It could easily hide inside the tavern.

"He knows we are coming." tells Artemus. "Assuming he is a changeling, he can take any form he wants, like the warforged. He has been looking at us from the start. He knows we are coming." On that, Artemus draw his dagger and hide in his sleeve, ready to attack at any moment.

"We'll not know untill we get into the damn place aint that true?" Decided, Hasifar opens the door, and walks in, hands in his pockets, straw in his mouth, walking like this
