[Adventure] Murder Most Foul! (Judge: EvolutionKB)

Boruuk steps forward to be next to the closest pair of skeletons, he draws upon the stone floor beneath him to gain its strength, if only for a few moments. He slashes at the enemies arrayed in front of him and is so enraged that he slams the axe one more time into the already injured enemy.

"Artemus, they're all yours. Blast them!" the goliath says, pointing to the cluster of enemies.

[SBLOCK=OOC]I have edited my action above. I don't think it was Boruuk turns yet. The skeleton haven't act yet. If Boruuk have to act, I'll just attack the Skeleton in front of me instead of Skeleton1[/SBLOCK]

[sblock=ooc]
Shoot...I'm an idiot... damnit. Ok, ignore the above post KarinsDad. I'll maybe use it for the next attack round? [/sblock]

Knoepf surveys the area. Seeing that Artemus is in a vunerable posistion, he mumbles a prayer. The skeleton in front of him begins to glow. "Artemus! Hit him when you get the chance!"

Artemus goes to engage the skeleton that seems the most wounded. He stab easily the undead, but without a good angle, he does little damage with his dagger.

Knoepf surveys the area. Seeing that Artemus is in a vunerable posistion, he mumbles a prayer. The skeleton in front of him begins to glow. "Artemus! Hit him when you get the chance!"

The skeletons flood into the room. Unlike the skeletons in the previous room, these skeletons appear to be working in a coordinated manner.

Skeleton 1 hits Hasifar in the arm.
Skeleton 2 hits Artemus in the chest.
Skeleton 4 moves along the edge of the room, but does not get an attack against Tirial.
Skeleton 5 moves along the edge of the room and attacks Tirial, but misses her.
Skeleton 6 does a glancing blow against Boruuk.
Skeleton 7 charges Artemus and also does a glancing blow.
Skeleton 8 charges Boruuk, but misses.

Sloane flies into the room, blows Hasifar a kiss and says "I have no further use for your services country bumpkin. Let's see how well you run the gauntlet.". She then gazes into Hasifar's eyes and goes insubstantial.

Hasifar runs past a bunch of the skeletons, lowering his guard and gets hit hard by every single one of them. As he runs up to Sloane, she slashes him open from shoulder to groin with her bony clawed hand and he falls to the ground unconscious.

"Pity, I thought you'd do better than that." Sloane muses.

"Listen carefully Knoepf." Sloane says maliciously "If you heal Hasifar in any way, I will kill him where he lies before you can do anything about it. And trust me, I can do that. Play by my rules, or Hasifar dies. If you heal him at all, you will be the cause of his death. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA" she laughs manically.

[sblock=OOC]
Artemus hits Skeleton 1 for 6.
Knoepf hits Skeleton 2 with Astral Seal.
Skeleton 1 hits Hasifar for 6.
Skeleton 2 criticals Artemus for 10.
Skeleton 4 only moves and does not attack.
Skeleton 5 misses Tiral.
Skeleton 6 hits Boruuk for 3.
Skeleton 7 hits Artemus for 3. Boruuk and Artemus got pretty lucky here.
Skeleton 8 misses Boruuk.
Sloane dominates Hasifar and then goes insubstantial.
Hasifar runs the gauntlet, J5 (OA Skel 1, hits Hasifar for 7), I6, H7 (OAs Skel 7 & 8, hits Hasifar for 4 and hits Hasifar for 8), H8 (OA Skel 6, hits Hasifar for 7), H9, H10 (OA Sloane, critials Hasifar for 18)

Tirial 50/50, -1 to all D20 rolls, limited communication
Artemus 24/44, marked by Skeleton 7
Knoepf 45/45
Skeleton 1, 42, bloodied
Skeleton 2, -2 to all defenses, Astal Seal TENT Knoepf
Skeleton 4, 17
Skeleton 5
Skeleton 6
Skeleton 7
Skeleton 8
Sloane, insubstantial, cover from everyone except Artemus (and Hasifar)
Hasifar -9/46, marked by Skeleton 6, dominated by Sloane and gives combat advantage to everyone (save ends), -5 to all attacks TSNT, prone, unconscious, dying, bloodied
Boruuk 59/62, marked by Skeleton 6

Hasifar gets to make a save against the domination since his turn is over. He does not need to make a dying saving throw until the start of his next turn.

The four armoires in the corners provide cover. You cannot enter into those squares normally, but you can climb up on top of an armoire.

The other furniture squares, the bed and the chests/trunks, can be entered. They are difficult terrain though.

Tirial is at -1 to all D20 rolls. The lowest Endurance check she can roll is a 17 (anything lower is considered a 17). Tirial needs to make an Endurance check at the end of each of her turns until she finally scores DC 20. This is a free action. Tirial's check is at -1 and +2 for a total of +1 modifier to her normal roll.

Note: Squares J6 and J7 share one large trunk which makes both of those squares difficult terrain.

Note: Hasifar did not make it to square H10 because he was OAed and knocked unconscious in square H9.

It's Boruuk's turn. Do you want to use the action you already rolled? If so, just adjust the movement if any, the targets, and repost it. Thanks.

Anger and rage coarse through Knoepf's veins as he speaks to his foe. "NO! You listen carefully to me! Soon, when we finish off you boney minons, we will come for you." Knoepf's body starts to glow a silver hue and whisps of silver flame begin to orbit his body. The skeletons surrounding Knoepf and his comrades shift nevously as if they must brace for a powerful storm as they are in prime locations for Knoepf's next attack. "And when we do, you'll feel the pain of my comrades weapons, especially Hasifar's dagger when he rises again. May he be the one who provides the killing blow, ending your evil stay in this world!"

[sblock=OOC]
My bad. Artemus cannot shift to J6. That square is difficult terrain. I noticed that and in the two+ hours that it took me to run that single round, I forgot about it and forgot to post a question on it. If you want Artemus to move to J6, I will have Skeleton 2 take its OA on Artemus and then adjust the other monster actions accordingly. Let me know quickly. Thanks.

That's one of the things I don't like about PBP. Every once in a while, someone posts an illegal move and then we all have to wait until it is corrected. For example, the original Stealth and the Shift that Artemus did in this round were both illegal. Try to avoid that if you can, thanks.
