[Adventure] Murder Most Foul! Part 2 (Judge: EvolutionKB)

Uhhh...yes....sure...the cleric says as he looks at the others showing cause of alarm...your information was quite helpful. The cleric gives the goblin 2 gold pieces, which the goblin greedily takes. Knoepf sighs and the then looks towards the others. What's going on Vex?

Acre frowns briefly, somewhat disappointed that they couldn't get more out of the worker.

. What's going on Vex?

Acre looks to the others. Reading serious concern on their faces, he looks around, scanning for trouble.

"What's our next move, Knoepf? We can't just waltz in, mentally-challenged day-laborers or not."

OOC: Sorry about the posting rate lately - too many relatives in town

A gold piece or two would be way sufficient for a day laborer.

I'll adjust my post. Thanks

Knoepf looked back at Acre. I did learn something. The construction was to replace the trap door that was sprung on my previous party when visiting Ladoran the first time. I was hoping to find information on a separate enterence to the establishment, but did not. As for the frontal assault...why not? It would be what he least expects, giving us the element of surprise. If he's preparing for something big, his mind will not be focussed on us. Second, yes, he probably has defenses set up, but the pit trap is not one he can use now. Knoepf looks around. We have little time to prepare. What say the rest of you?

"We need to get off the street, one way or another," Vex said as she continued to scan the area for trouble. "Something doesn't feel right- might be the weather, might be some kind of arcane seepage from that ritual Ladoran is supposedly working..."

"Front door seems as good an idea as any. Since we haven't worked together, I don't think we'd be able to pull off a complicated plan- and we don't seem particularly subtle."

"The good old frontal assault tactic?" replies Garrick as he ponders the idea.

"I would expect an arcane user to have his front door secured for situations like this one, specially if he's about to finish some kind of bizarre ritual. But then, we're no infiltration squad. It could just be the best way for us to force our way though, unless there's another suitable option. and so far, I see none."

With that, Garrick readies himself for a very rough afternoon.
