Frustrated at his efforts, he turns towards his fallen comrade. Get up now Malehan. It is time to turn the tide of this battle. With that command, life pours back into Malehan's body.

Acre's face registers shock as he surveys the damage to his allies. Enraged, he lashes out at Sloane, blinding her with his greatspear.

"Thin the field! Thin the field" Acre shouts in a panic. Moving quickly, Acre strikes at one of the Eladrin, but misses.

"Cut them down, Vex!" Acre yells, and Vex feels the force of Acre's words rejuvenate her.


With a grunt at the sudden attacks, Garrick tries ineffectively to strike the Eladrin in front of him.

"This is not a challenge and soon, there will be nothing on this planet that can challenge me." the dragon remarks before goring and slashing Vex.


Although one Eladrin falls, the other three continue their attacks. One hits Knoepf hard in the thigh, one misses Garrick, and the third would have downed Vex except for Garrick's timely magic.


"Do you think blinding me will stop me?" Sloane asks as she flies around (20 feet high now) and shrieks. Everyone is paralyzed with fear except for Knoepf and Garrick who tough it out and Vex who falls over unconscious. Sloane then partially fades out of existance again.

Opps. Close Burst, not Close Blast. It targets Vex as well. It hits Vex for 8 - 1 = 7.

It's the PC's turn.

The two walls to either side of the entrance way go up 15 feet, so someone could climb either the wall or the portcullis and still get out.

The "stairs up" in the corners, at the statue in the middle, and at the far end are difficult terrain. Everything else is normal terrain. The pillar squares holding up the ceiling are a squeeze, but creatures can diagonally move past them with no difficulty.

Note: there is a set of double doors at the south central part of the map which might be not easy to notice right away.

Acre just manages to swing his greatspear at the nearest Eladrin despite being immobilized. (Energizing strike augment 2 vs Eladrin 4 hits AC 21 for 17 damage. Actually, since I missed him last turn, with Inescapable Greatspear that hits AC22, killing E4. Vex spends a surge.)

Got to get her out of there, Acre thinks, and in a flash, he and Vex switch places (Dimensional Swap swaps Vex and Acre via teleportation).

Acre fails save vs immbob.

Acre will use Brooch of No Regrets on next ally to fail save vs immob this turn. That ally gets to reroll the save with a +2 bonus.

Vex is still unconscious before Acre heals him, so Vex needs to still make the death saving throw and still does not get an action this round.

Acre's first give healing surge to Vex brings Vex conscious.
