Malehan walks to the table where the warforged is. "Is this chair free?" asks Malehan pointing an empty chair at the table.

The Warforged looks at Malehan quizzically with its head tilted to the side. "No, I do not think it is free. I think the owner of this tavern owns it and would probably not appreciate you taking it." the Warforged responds.

Malehan sits down. "Didn't meant to buy it, I meant if someone was using it and was planning to return to sit here soon... I must confess I have met a few warforged and some of them are kind of naive when other are a lot brighter than most living inhabitant. I never know if your kind are serious or kidding when they answer like that..."

He look at the warforged. "Hmmm... I hope I didn't offended you, because it wasn't my intention. I must tell you have more common sense then my new companions. The dwarf told us we were heading to stop some dark murderous sorcerer. Sounds good action, noble cause and a good chance to make some money out of the loot we could get from his magical items... but I wasn't expecting to start that expedition with a bar fight, and using swords instead of fist over that. I should have known dwarves are stubborn and gruff and grump. No surprise his companions finish dead or missing. Wonder if it wrth the trouble after all."

Malehan then makes a sign to the barman, showing a few copper. "A mug of ale please."

"I have seen that Dwarf before. He was with another group of people who started an alley fight a few days ago. I do not understand him since he orders people around and calls them cowards with one breath, and then claims that I started a fight that he started with the next. I must confess. I do not understand many of the things that flesh people say and do." the Warforged replies.

"Me neither, neither your kind to me, but for different reasons." replies Malehan. "I wonder if it was wise to join that group. They seems uselessly violent. But the want to stop Lodoran... you know him? Is he really dangerous? The dwarf told me that guy murder a few innocent and tried to kill his group, with much success as he was alone when I met him. Most of his old teammate was death or had disappeared."

"I know of this Ladoran. He hates all Warforged. He once hit me with Lightning while I was just walking down the street. When I protested, he grabbed me and threw me against a wall and shouted at me to leave the city and never be in his sight again. He is very strong. It took quite a while to repair myself. I will always try to avoid him. But, it is not just me. I stand witness. Many people are afraid of Ladoran, even powerful people. They give him a lot of room on the street when he walks by. Something is wrong with him. Something is not right. I do not know what it is, but it is more than him just being a powerful man. You would be wise to avoid him instead of provoking him." the Warforged states. Malehan almost imagines that the Warforged shivers a bit when he relates this, but of course, Warforged do not show that much emotion.

"But the dwarf talk about his meeting with Ladoran. He spoke about a ritual that Ladoran will soon finish that will give even more strength and powers. If he freely attack someone like you who doesn't mean him any harm, imagine what he will allow himself to do once he is more powerful. Wouldn't you think it would be better to prevent him to do such ritual and bring him to justice?" asks Malehan, he then look at Vex. "Or kill him, I doubt they will allow him to live through that encounter. Personally, I don't like much unnecessary death, but since the Last War..." the elf doesn't finish his sentence, fixing the air for a quick moment.

"Please, please. Have a seat. My name is Merrick. Would you care for something to drink sir...?" the Goblin asks Acre amiably.
]

Acre smiles. "You'll never catch me passing up an offer of drink, thank you!" Acre sits down, attempting to appear as casual as possible.

"I hope you'll forgive our little tussle, Merrick. We figured a little demonstration of what we were capable of was in order. I heard what happened earlier with the attempt on your rival, Lodoran. You see, stronger hands (including, if I may be so bold, myself) have been called upon to get the job done. And get it done we will."

Acre rubs his chin, appearing pensive. "Of course, if you can help us in any way, that would allow us to achieve our goal that much quicker. Is there anything you can tell us that will aid us in our mission?"

"Rush, rush, rush. Everyone is always in a rush. Straight to business." Merrick says as he slowly drinks his wine. "Very well." he sighs and pauses.

"Let's discuss why I would want to assist you. You come into my place of business, order my men around, insult me and my men, start a fight, and then you want me to help you. No, no, no. Don't try to deny it. Dorgon has already told me what has transpired here. So explain to me what is so important that you need my help against Ladoran and then explain to me what you are willing to do for me in order to gain my trust, support, and assistance."

"It does not matter what I think. I cannot stop Ladoran, nor would I try. You might be crazy enough to try to stop him. Justice will get him sooner or later. If you are so concerned with this ritual that you are talking about, why don't you go to the watch and have them handle it?" the Warforged asks Malehan.
