"It seems I must leave. Thanks for the wisdom. I hope we can handle that Ladoran before he do some new stupid thing." Malehan stands up and leave the warforged to join up the group who is leaving.

Knoepf follows the others, resisting a parting verbal shot at the evil filth who occupy this establishment. As he exits, he turns to Acre, eager to hear the news from his talk with Merrick. He also tends to the needs of the injured among his comrades.

knoepf uses healing word on himself: 2d6+11 plus surge (12) = 26
bringing him to max hp

knoep is down to 6 surges left.

does anyone else need a healing word?

Vex trailed along behind the others as the group began to head for the door. She kept most of her attention on the thugs hovering around Merrick, but managed not to bump into anyone on the way out. Once they reached the door, she swung her sword back into the harness across her back- while she said nothing, she did look expectantly in Acre's direction...

[sblock= OOC] With either her Second Wind or a surge at the end of our short rest while awaiting the results of Acre's meeting, Vex should be back up to full HP. [/sblock]

The group heads outdoors where Acre relates what he learned. The winds have picked up a bit, the clouds are getting darker, and there is a slight splattering of large rain droplets. Being in the lower levels, however, means that the group only sees this at some of the ramps that lead down here from above.

What next?

"Sounds like our best option." replies Garrick as they walk.

"Still, I think that instead of just going head on, we could try and get some information from the streets on who and how they are repairing his place. With that info it should be a lot easier to go unnoticed as we make our hit. Sadly enough, I'm not really good at getting information out of people by talking, perhaps one of you is more suited for such a task?"

The group heads down into the general neighborhood of where Ladoran lives. Conversing with a few people in the area, the group finds out that a bunch of Goblins are working at Ladoran's house. This seems typical in Khyber's Gate as Goblins not only make up a significant percentage of the population around here, but they are also the preferred race for doing manual labor types of jobs.

After taking a look around, Garrick still has no clue as to how they are supposed to sneak into the place."Well, since none of us is a goblin, how are we going to mix with the repairing crew?"
