Nicely down Vex. It's time to end this now. Let's go. Knoepf moves forward and moves to the right. Do you remember me human? We need to talk. If you even attempt to run or do anything as to alarm your master, my comrades and I will kill you.

[sblock=action]
move to f16
attack: he moves to run or trigger something, Knoepf will cast bane.
minor: none

Am I allowed to do this
[/sblock]

"No, I don't remember you. No, no. Not at all. I don't remember you." the Human replies. "You there, call the watch. Call the watch." the Human says, pointing at a Goblin. "Ruffians didn't break into homes in my day. Wait till Master Ladoran hears of this. He'll grind you all into fertilizer. Yes, yes. Fertilizer. That's what Master Ladoran will do. You had better leave quick. Quick."

Of course, the Goblin doesn't move a muscle. All of them are pretty much trying to be unobtrusive.

"He is lying- badly," Vex said in a conversational voice. "Stalling, I'd guess. Do we really need to talk to him? He's not going to turn his master's secrets over, no matter how persuasive we are..." She shifted her grip on her greatsword, ready for an ambush.

[sblock= OOC] If possible, Vex will move so she is within 5 squares of the servant while remaining on solid ground. Staying on solid ground is a priority over being within 5 squares if both conditions can't be fulfilled. If we are moving to combat actions, she will Ready a ranged MBA (trigger is: servant takes any action other than talking or movement) [/sblock]

Malehan wait in the doorway, waiting for his companions to handle the situation, and he hopes they do it better than last time.

As the verbal animosity between the Human and the newcomers increases, many of the Goblins stop their work and defensively hold their tools in front of themselves. Regardless of any assurances made in the Goblin language, this is still Khyber's Gate and criminal factions are known to kill nearby witnesses. Vex's body language is obvious and many of the Goblins are eyeing the party with worried looks.

"I suggest we just throw that servant in the hole. He will stop bothering the workers and he won't be able to warn Ladoran while we search for him." suggests Malehan.

[SBLOCK=OOC]This a mixte of Diplomacy to tell the goblin we don't have anything against them and an Intimidate against the servant. Diplomacy; Intimidate (1d20+3=15, 1d20+3=19) Not a bad roll, considering my modifiers.[/SBLOCK]

At this Acre just laughs and laughs. "From the looks of it there aren't many here who'd miss him." Eyeing the worried collection of goblin workers, Acre says "No, we wouldn't want to upset anyone with such a violent scene. Perhaps we can reconsider once the workers have left." With these last three words, Acre makes a shooing motion with his hands towards the workers.

"This would be your last chance to get out of here - pray take it before one of my friends does something... messy with this human over here" the half-elf 'whispers' to the workers.

The Goblins eye the group suspiciously, but the Hobgoblin starts ordering them around the pit. They form up into a large ameoba of bodies and start heading across and around the pit to the far side, staying as far away from the newcomers as possible.

"Hey, where are you going? Don't leave me here for these ruffians to murder. HELP! HELP! Call the watch. The watch! You're all witnesses. MASTER LADORAN! MASTER LADORAN!" the Human shouts at the top of his lungs as he also tries to run to the far side of the pit to get away from the party, his eyes bulging in fear. He's moving pretty slow though. Age seems to be a definite factor.

Malehan draw his bow and point his arrow at the servant. "Now stop to move. Those goblins have asked nothing to mingle with your master dark business. Don't use them as a shield like a coward. We just want to meet with your master. Either you help us, or we make sure you don't hinder us." tells the elf.
