(Adventure) Retrieval of Fallon's Key (Macbeth Judging)

The night wears on and soon all of the elves are gone to thier bed leaving the eating tent to the heros, though the food had been put away, as well as the drink. Two lanterns lit in seperate corners iluminate the room. The companions think that there is perhaps 9 hours until dawn.

(OoC: If nothing else happens at this point, I'll be posting the next mornings activities and the following days tomorrow. Tomorrow night, you'll have more time to discuss things, if you like. I'd like to keep this moving, since in all reality the adventure has not even started yet :))

After finishing his mael and relaxing for a little while, Sebastian heads outside, "Have a good night all" he calls back to his new companions.

Sebastian will then walk the permiter of the camp, so he knows the layout of the camp in case anything occures during the night.

After his walk he will return to the tents provided for the group and try to get some sleep.

The night is uneventful. It seems the elf was right. Not much would take on 10 full grown griffons if they could avoid it.

The morning activities are hurried as the tents, sleeping palets, tables, cooking gear, lanterns, benches and asorted other items are packed away.

Even though there is a large amount to pack, the riders that the characters had riden with are shortly ready, though the rest of the camp is less then half packed. The little boy mounts behind a rider, and motions that they should move out.

The following day's ride is about the same as yesterdays, except for a pack of wyverns that had flown close to investigate the intruder to their teritory. They shadowed the pack of griffons until they exited the wyverns teritory.

As evening came, once more the griffons swoop down into yet another clearing, this one prepared like the last, except that a different elf stands ready with the food. Most everyone notes taht though the camp is set up the same, all the equipment in it is different.

Once more the elven riders dismount, help you down and go through the necessary work of grooming the griffons and feeding them.

Iggy tries to stay close to his big friend Sara, not really trusting the big griffins.

Sara lets iggy stay as close as he wants to... ;) ... :p

ooc: not planning on starting any fights tonight unless theres a problem with the sleeping arangements, so on to the morning for sara...

OOC: Please let me know when you are ready to continue... I can have this beginning trip done in one post and we can move on. However, I don't want anyone to feel rushed so take you time if that's what you want. You let me know. Regardless, if no one voices their preference, or nothing happens today, I'll be postin gthe next days flight tomorrow morning.

OOC: might as well get the rest of intro out of the way now then - don't wanna just look up everyone's character and assume we all know what we can do...

At the second nights dinner, Sara quietly encorages everyone to sit at the same table. Once she's sated the worst of her hunger, and after only one mug of ale, she leaps lightly on her chair and claps for attention.

"well, everyone, I've worked in groups before, but only for fights, not what we're going to have to do to get to whoever we're fighting. But it stands to reason that no matter what we're doing together, we need to know what each of us can do. I hurt things, fairly straightforward. And I assume everyone here can help out a bit with that part, though I'd like to know who will be at the front with me and who I need to keep the heavies off of." She winks at Iggy and takes a gulp of ale. "But I'd also like to know who should be doing what before we get to the fight. Who can do the talking, and who should be doing the listening? Who can sneak up to see what we're up against, and who" she jangles her garish chain shirt with a grin, "is not exactly inconspicuous? So speak up and don't hold your talants back! What can you do, and what shouldn't you?" She hops back into her seat and waits for someone to start.

Looking over at Sara as she bounces around Sebastian smiles and then looks around at the others, “Well, unlike Sara I don’t hurt things, at not least very well. My talents lie with quiet movement and being unseen. I also have a very good sense of balance and can climb better than most without the aide of rope.” Watching for any kind of reaction from the others as he continues, “ I also have some skill in bypassing locks and removing other protections people may have placed on doors and such. When it come to combat, I’ll pass if possible but will do what I can if a chance to catch someone unaware or perhaps distracted presents its self.”

Sara grins and taps Sebastian on each shoulder with a table knife. "I dub thee Official Sneaky Guy. If anyone else wants the title we can play hide-and-go-seek for it after dinner." She nods to the next person around the table.

[OoC: What the... for some reason ENWorld doesnt seem to update for me O_o Didn't notice this page as it doesnt show up outside the topic... Strange...]

Well, I'm more of a talker than a fighter, even though talking doesnt always seem to work for me. Rogier smiles with saying that, as he remembers his pretty bad introduction the day before. I am pretty skilled with a sword, have had training to ride and fight from mounts. But don't expect me to sneak up on to someone, that's not something I'm good at.. Again, he smiles. Next?
