(Adventure) Retrieval of Fallon's Key (Macbeth Judging)

Iggy

"This smacks of an inside job," Iggy says on the way out. "Who could bypass all that magic that guy lays down. I guess it doesn't really matter either way. We still have to follow the guide."

OOC - Why wait? Assuming we get to the rooms and all, Llolian gathers information on Fallon's Key and anyone who might want to steal it. He's an elf, he'll sleep when he's dead!

Gather Information:13 (fallon's key)
Gather information 23 (wanting to steal)

The elven lad leads the characters out of the forest, through a worren of paths and caves until they find them selves outside of the Head Master's tower. The little boy continues to lead you out of the college proper, throught he gates and into the lower city. He then heads to the dock and tells the group that they are going to catch a 'lift' on one of the gysers to the upper city.

Hopping on a small boat, it is guided by an oarsman to a specific part of the dock, and then the group feels a constant presure under the boat, and once more they feel the same sensation that the felt when the griffons took off, as the ground shoots away below them. The accent slows and stops near a bridge, some 70 stories up, and the little boy calmly hops off. "Quickly, the Gyster's have limits to the ammount of time that they can maintain the necessary pressure."

Once off, the group is then shown to an elvish inn, with exquisite marble collums, and shining quarts walls, that would have surely caught the suns rays if they were present. As it was, the fairy fire that outlined the doorways and windows, seemed to bring out the blue in the walls.

Once inside, the inn is quite, with a commons room only a quarter full. All of the individualls in the inn seemed to be elves except for a gnome, by himselfin the corner. The little elven child runs to the innkeeper, and giving innkeeper a hug says to him "These are the ones. Remember, rooms close together, and attached!" HTe elven innkeeper rubbs the lads head and looks up to the party.

"Your rooms are already set up. There are three, two for the men and one for the female. They are attached so that if you need to talk with one another, you'll have access to eachother's rooms. Please, come to the private dining room that I have prepared for you and we can see that you are fead."

OOC: 'the female'? Considering your spell check ability :p , I'm gonna assume that that was your bad, not an amazingly insulting comment on the part of a soon to be deceased innkeeper.... But dude... you don't use that phrasing outside of farm animals and women you want to insult....

"I look forward to seeing how this food compares to home," LLolian says. He follows Iggy into the dining room. He'll eat, wait until the others are done, and try to gather information (per rolls as above), then go to sleep.

Let's get to some killin! Besides each other, I mean. :)

Sara looks blankly at the man for a moment then realization dawns and she begins laughing, starting with snickers and finally collapsing into a seat holding her belly. Standing up to stagger to the dinning room, she wipes away the tears from her eyes and gasps out "Oh thank you sir for your concern for my Hon... hon..." She gives up and begins laughing again.

After a dinner regularly punctuated by irrepressable snickers whenever the innkeeper walks by, she casually takes one of the beds in the center room and goes to sleep.

Nothing untold happens during the meal, and as the others get ready, Llolian walks around the inn and gets to know the patrons, asking questions in a friendly manner, and buying drinks. He finds a little information about the key. It's supposed to be to the cetral controlling device to the web of spells that enable Fallon to survive in it's unique fassion. As to who would want to steal it? Must be an outsider, like Llolian and his group, for everyone of the city knows that without the key, Fallon would fall eventually.

Talking with the gnome, Llolian finds out that there has been a number of quiries about it by someone from the slums, near the warehouse district. But the quiries have all been made by different people. The strange thing was it that they all said to be staying in that area.

Llolian had to hold his tongue, for he finds that the knowledge that the key was stolen is not widely known. Infact no-one that he spoke to knew that it had been stolen and ask if the elf knew anything.

OOC: I'll need to know who is sleeping or staying where. I already know where the 'female' is staying, but I'll need to know for the rest of you as well.
