(Adventure) Retrieval of Fallon's Key (Macbeth Judging)

[Lichtenhart]

Llolian looks at Serene Wind and Thebis-Ra.

"Where to?" he asks.

Wind shows the map Mithreander just gave them.
"We don't have much time before that creature carries the key somewhere else though. I could run there and have a look while you arrive, if you think it's a good idea."
The young monk looks at the others expectantly.

 

[Kahuna Burger]

sara will keep Iggy next to her and watch out for things that might threaten him. She will try not to be in a possition where she would be counting on Thebis-ra to watch her back...

 

[Mithreander]

The map shows that the item was last at a warehouse, some 10 blocks down this very road.

Moving in that direction, the group sees a dark building where te warehouse should be. There are no windows facing the street, it's 2 stories tall and only has a single door leading into it. All of you see a begger leaning against the door, seeming to sleep.

Activity on the street has not lessened any the further you worked your way into the slum.

"Let's do a bit of recon before we approach that door. Llolian, Sebastian, Serene, does one or two of you want to circle the building & see if there are any other entrances or windows to look in?"

"Good idea Iggy, I'm up for it, anyone else? We also should subdue the begger out front, he's most likely a lookout."

Sebestian makes sure all his equipment is secure for scouting and a possible climb.

 

[Mithreander]

There are alleys from the street that go by the warehouse, both of them about 5' wide. The group can see that they are filled with trash, though not enough to block them completely.

Once more, the group notes that there are people on the rooves seeming to watch the happenings on the streets with interest, though not particualarly the group, though one individual is. He seems to be wearing leather armor, and may be human, though it's hard to tell in the darkness. One thing is sure, and that he's holding a crossbow in his two hands, though it's not raised.

 

[Manzanita]

Iggy cranes his neck to look around. "I think those people on the rooves are watching us. This could get ugly if they're friendly with the people in the warehouse. Sebastian, if you find another entrance, perhaps we could try to enter that way, and draw less attention to ourselves. I suppose they'd get suspicious if a group of people like us file into a garbage-filled alley anyway. Why don't I come with you. I'm pretty sneaky myself. We halflings are good at that sort of thing, even without training."

 

[Snipehunt]

Llolian whispers, "I'll go down one alley, maybe Sebastian can go down another. That way, we're likely to see anything."

Llolian takes out his wineskin and pours a little on his neck and face, hoping to pass himself off as a harmless drunk if anybody sees him.

OoC - obviously, Llolian trusts that the darkness alone will be enough to keep him out of sight.

"Hey!" Sara grabs at iggy's arm, "You could get hurt! Why are we bothering trying to be sneaky anyway, its obvious we can be watched... just give pally and the bow boy a count of 30 to run around to the other side and we'll all bash our way in!"

 

[JDragon]

Sebastian finishes preping his equipment and looks to Iggy & Sara and says, "Ok I guess I'll cover the back."

Sebastian then slips in to the closet alley, hoping to make it to the back of the building in question using the alleys.
