The Striker smiles to the womans comment and says "Don't feel that you have too, but it is there if you want it."

Sara happily sets to the wine and pretty much ignores the elves otherwise. If directly questioned she will attest only to the truth of Iggy's statements, whatever they may be...

Mithreander said:
"What will your two other companions do now that you have been captured, as it were?"

What is the reason you need them here for? We can solve this without them just fine, so please get this over with so we can get back to our beds. Rogier acts a bit displeased with the attempt of the Justice to find the rest of the party, and shows this pretty clearly. Now good man, I am sure that you've understood what we have told you. If it is not too much trouble I would like to hear why we are still being held here and what you are accusing us of exactly, or let us leave so we can get on with our primairy buisiness.

The Justice frowns at the paladin and says "The question about your companions was a test of your wilingness to coroperate. If you really want to know what you are being held for, I thought it was odvious. The leader of our comunity was seen going into your room where it became appearent that your group fought him, forced him out of the window, showeruing arrows upon his retreating vintage. That, my friend is a serious alogation. And all that you have told us is that he came in and then went out the window without mention of the ruckus, except that Mithreander may have taken something from your group, which I find highly unlikely. Then to further complications, after Mithreander supposedly fled, the voice of a woman was heard in a panic being molested, presumably, by one of your group. This is the information that you have given us to this point. Now can you tell us why we WOULDN't hold you? I think we have actually been quite generous. Now, if you will show some coroperation and tell me what you beleive your companions will do, we can see what can be done with them, if there is a need." The justice looks none to happy with the attitude that he has recieved from the adventurers and pulls on his robe as if to remind them that he had been woken up for this.

And where in our story did we say Mithreander walked into the room? Have you even examined the blood on our weapons we fought your so called Mithreander with?

Rogier shows his axe, which hasn't been cleaned since the battle, and still has greenish substance on it.

It's no blood of any human nor elf, that's what I'm sure of. So unless your Lord Mithreander has some secrets we haven't been informed of, this was not him. Secondly, we didn't fight Mithreander, we fought someone or something who cloned into my friend Iggy here. He thought it might be a Doppleganger, but I think the same thing would be possible with any kind of magic?

So no Sir, I would not hold us, but rather try and catch the thing that assaulted us.

Iggy

"Ah, yes, Rogier, the holy warrior of Hyrag speaks truly, good sir. You see, we were attacked by some creature which took my form. If it could take me form, evidently it could take Mithreander's form as well, causing the confusion. I'm sure Mithreander himself could clear this all up. We would like to see him anyway, so perhaps you could just take us there."

Llolian rolls his eyes at the continued questioning by the Striker and the Justice. He stands up, trying his best to wear the stern demeanor of the great lords of his homeland, who could inspire confidence and respect simply by speaking.

"If you really wanted to know the circumstances of the screaming woman at the inn, you would simply have gone and asked her. Our companions obviously are not going to harm anyone who doesn't try to harm them first, and it appears that no one has complaiend of their actions - except for you, who wasn't there.

"Likewise, if you really wanted to know why we were here, you would simply have asked Mithreander, or his son Eldendrel (sp?), who hired us at the Red Dragon Inn and hired griffons to transport us here. We did not simply arrive here like brigands in the night. A host of witnesses can support this.

"And if you really were concerned that we had committed a crime, despite the lack of a body or any complaint by anyone of any of our actions, the Elves of this city certainly have the magical power to arrive at the truth of that."

Llolian pauses for a second.

"Therefore, I respectfully request that you ask us what you really want to know. We have an important task to accomplish, and a criminal posing as Mithreander wanders these streets as we speak."

Sebastian continues to sit quitely answering any questions posed directly to him, but not volunterring any additional information.

[OCC] I will be out of town for the next week, returning on 11/17/03. please do not allow Sebastian do anything stupid :D [OCC]

The justice nods to the elves words, shifting his feet to a more confortable position. "Fine, fine. I hope YOU don't mind if I play it safe?"

Meanwhile, down below, below in the true city, Serene and Thanus-Ra close on the gate of the college and note at the base of the tower where they had met Mithreander, there is a set of two guards knocking on the door.

Thebis-Ra will wait untill someone opens the door. If that person is Mithreander, he will walk towards him and the guards, if it isn't, he'll wait a minute and then knock on the door himself.
