(Adventure) Retrieval of Fallon's Key (Macbeth Judging)

The young monk, seeing the force bolts hitting Sebastian, runs to tumble past the table and the thugs so they can't flank the rogue and, if he has time, he tries to land a kick or two on them.

 

[Manzanita]

Iggy's readied action is to shoot his crossbow at any thug who peers his head over the table, or becomes visible to him in any way.

[OoC: I'm not sure if this should go here, if not, delete it. As you might have noticed I haven't been on the boards for..2, 3 months now, personal reasons mostly. As I see the game is still going, is there a chance for Rogier to join in again? I think I can keep up again, as I'll have a lot more time to spend (quit my study, long story, won't bother). Anyway, I'll wait for your decision.]aaa

OOC: Welcome Venus! You'll note that I was also hiatus for a month+, so you have actually missed very little. Please read up on where we are, and make an excuse for joining the battle (shouldn't be difficult, seeing that it was only a minute, game time, if that). Oh, Rogier is second level now, so you may want to make those adjustments as well.

Sebastian charges the mage, but his shortsword clangs off of a layer of hard air infront of the mage.

Serene jumps over the burning tabble to land in the spot that rogue had just evacuated, turning to meet the thugs.

The magic-user steps back 5' and encants a spell, aiming the newly formed missiles at both Serene and Sebastian (3 points to Sebastian, 5 to Wind).

The thugs stand to face the monk, one of which gets answered by a bolt from Iggies crossbow in the back, forcing him to his knees and then to his face as he looses consciousness.

The one reamining, drops his crossbow, pulls his sword free and swings at the monk, who dodges the blow with unnatural speed, seeming to sense the move before it actually happened.

Iggy

Iggy sighs, and his mouth forms sylables of regret, though no sound emerges. He then tries to get around the table.

OOC: I assume the table is too high for little Iggy to Jump (Jump skill: +1), if so, he'll try his escape artist skill to edge around it. (escape artist: untrained, but small w/dex: +7)

 

[Gurdjieff]

Being delayed a lot with the fake beggar and his heavy gear, Rogier tries to catch up with his friends. Rushing down the stairs he notices the battle just up ahead, and he runs to aid his party before it is too late.

[OoC: Run forward as far as possible...]

Rogier rushes forward to where Iggy was while iggy squezes through the small space between the table and the wall (moving the table slightly to do so).

Sebastian's turn.

Sebastian moves past the caster to get in the corner behind her, calling to Serene, "We have to kill her before she kills us all!" Sebastian then appears to be waiting for Serene to move into possition oppisite him to attack.

[OCC]Sebastian is readying to attack the mage once Serene has her flanked.[OCC]

Iggy

OOC: Iggy has already cast his mage armor spell, before entering the silence area. His standard spell list is:

Standard Spells(4+1 div/2+1 int+1 div): detect magic, daze, light, message, ghost sound, mage armor, color spray, comprehend languages, charm person

IC: Iggy, now around the table, and seeing and hearing the action. He'll move into the room, away from the thug, and reload his crossbow.

 

[Lichtenhart]

Concentrating to wash away the pain of the bolt, Wind catches Sebastian's drift and moves to allowhim a clear shot, while he tries to incapacitate her, should they need to interrogate her later.
