[sblock=Velmont]Thanks for helping my inept butchering of my last move. I completely forgot about the OG damage[/sblock]Arkavas can barely keep his head above his feet, but manages to grab a quick breath. Closing his eyes for a brief moment, he lets go of his blade and allows it to float free. The huge weapon stands erect in mid air, swishes a salute to Arkavas, and points menacingly at the two wretches that flank his dying friend.[sblock=Actions]Standard: SW (+10hp)

Minor:
Activate Repulsion Armor daily power. Arkavas can push enemies 1 square, as an immediate reaction, if they move into an adjacent square. This lasts till the end of the encounter.
Minor: Dancing Weapon
Arkavas throws his fullblade into E6. The weapon has speed 0 and fly 6 (hover). The weapon is considered to be a small creature. When the dancing weapon drops to 0 hit points, it is not destroyed, and you do not lose a healing surge. Instead, the weapon returns to your hand. The dancing weapon cannot open or close a door or a container, or pick up or drop an item. You can give the dancing weapon the following commands:

  • Minor Action: Melee 1; Targets 1 creature; +12 vs AC; 1d12+5 damage
  • Opportunity Attack: Melee 1; Targets 1 creature; +12 vs AC; 1d12+5 damage

Free: Sticks his tongue out

Questions: Not sure how many HP the weapon has. Do the statues provide cover?

Save vs. Poison: 1d20=17 Whew![/sblock]

Radtash's sacrificial streak might well prove fatal as he bleeds between two enemies [sblock=Death Save]1d20=7 1 down.[/sblock]

[SBLOCK=OOC]Don't forget, Radtash have still ongoing damage too, you need to make him a save for him.[/SBLOCK]

Gruff swings his blade home against the foe who felled his friend. The gem in the hilt of his weapon gleams orange, and the cavern echoes with thunder as the arblaster collapses.

[sblock=mech]

Sorry for being absent without letting ya'll know.. got called away last week and forgot to post before I left.

Standard: Booming Blade (1d20+11=20, 1d8+6=10) On the bloodied arblaster, of course. 10 damage should down him.
Minor: Aegis defender. -3 to attacks that don't include Gruff
Move: sub for minor, Second Wind. Gruff is at 30/55 hp + 5temp, +2 defenses, 8/9 surges.

[/sblock]

Gogmorthak charge the Iron Cobra. With a blow, he cut the creature in two. Bolstered by his rage, he swipe at the Defender, killing it too.

With Gruff having taken care of his opponent, there is only one Arbalester still animated. He attacks Arkavras and Gog. Arkavras deflect the bolt while Gogmorthak just ignore the pain.

It takes only a moment to the group to dispatch their last opponent. Then, they take care of Radtash, who recover consciousness.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Grasping Chains of the Justicar is an area burst 1, that mean the Arbalester[G11] is too far to be hit. Or it could be the Iron Cobra[D9], but I suppose you like your critical here and the person in trouble at the moment is Radtash. So Arbalester is missed by Narvala.

Arkavras spent a standard action for his Second wind when Narvala had made a Heal check. I'll pretend Narvala never done that check, so she will keep her Action Point. Anyway, her bonus to hit was useless on a natural 1 and 20.

Gogmorthak:
Standard: Charge: Howling Strike on Serpent (1d20+14=21) Move to E7 and kill and gain 9 THP.
Free: Basic Attack on Stonefist (1d20+13=24, 1d12+7=18) Kill!

Arbalester:
Standard: Doubleshot on Gogmorthak and Arkavras (1d20+11=19, 1d20+11=21, 1d10+4=5) Hit only Gog, and do 5 damage, all taken with THP.

Sweetness: AoO (1d20+13=22, 1d4+6=7)

The Arbalester will die this turn pretty easily, so end of combat! Radtash stabilize and spend his second wind to wake up. By the way, I allow Radtash to spend his last Healing Word before the short rest happen. Make good use of it.[/SBLOCK]

[SBLOCK=Status]Map Updated

Radtash : Font of Tears
Sweetness : Downward Spiral, Bait and Switch[/QUOTE]

Sweetness spent a few extra moments bashing the now-inert constructs into smaller pieces before she was forced to admit that they were not going to yield any edible material. Grumbling, the gnoll retrieved her tools, which had been so hastily discarded at the beginning of the fight. Then she sank down into a crouch, warily eyeing the other statues, as she caught her breath.

OOC: Short rest, I guess. Sweetness is only down 6 HP, so won't spend a surge, but she is willing to donate one surge to reload one curative admixture. Once we're rested we can get back to cracking this puzzle lock- but this time we won't have to worry about killer statues...

OOC: Narvala's used all of her dailies at this point; I suppose we can go on, but if anyone else is short on resources it might not be the best idea.
