Arkavas too inspects the room. He pays particular attention to the glyph and the runes around the desk...from a distance though. [sblock=OOC]Arkavas knows Common, Goblin, Draconic, Dwarven, Elven, Giant, and Superna. Do the runes look like any of these languages?

Additionally:

Arcana 1d20+14=32[/sblock][sblock=Healing Surges]Arkavas will spend a a healing surge to get back to full. Bringing him down to 3.[/sblock].

Sweetness inspect the room. He founds in the three alcove in the corners of the room a pile of trashy objects, rusted armor and old and generally broken weapon all covered by dust.

Arkavras see that the runes are magical in nature. They are harmless by itself but they generally are used for divination rituals.

"It seems someone's been trying to talk to spirits here," Arkavas looks more carefully at the sarcophagus and the walls of the room, "Either that or summon creatures... or maybe raise the dead." Arkavas thinks for a moment, "Or maybe he just created a fancy way of getting in and out without a door."

[sblock=OOC]Are there any exits to the room besides the portal? Is the Sarcophagus warded? Trapped?

Perception: 1d20+10 = 18
Thievery: 1d20+7 = 21
Arcana: 1d20+14 = 25

Keep in mind that Arkavas is still only looking at this point.[/sblock]

Arkavras see the symbol on the ground is made of blood. It might have been used at some time for a ritual but he doubt any magic is left to it. The condition of it is too poor, and blood is a good vector when it is fresh.

The room seems sealed and the group is not aware of any exit, except for the portal and it doesn't look like it will reopen anytime soon, at least not without some unknown action.

As Arkavas made his inspection of the room, Sweetness prowled along behind him, peering over his shoulder. Once the examination was complete, the gnoll began to fidget. "Time to open meat-box, yep yep yep," she growled, pointing to the sarcophagus. "Or break runes and check table stuff?"

OOC: My vote is to try the sarcophagus first. If we choose that, Sweetness will check it first: Perception +9= 21, Thievery +12= 17; rolls Roll Lookup

[SBLOCK=OOC]I would like a roll call form everyone. Just to make sure who is still here. This is the last room and I would like a majority of players around for it.

Please, just tell me how you see your online appearance for the next few weeks.[/SBLOCK]

[sblock= OOC] I am still here, and ready to go. During the week, I am online most days from about 4 PM to 10 PM, Eastern US time. On the weekends I have access time most of the day, with some random breaks- I'll be here the next two weekends mostly, but I will be off-line the weekend of March 26-28 (all weekend). [/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]I'm around, but was in the process of moving last week. Now that I'm moved into my new apartment and have internet access here, I should be able to post more regularly again.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]I'm still around, just been rather slammed lately. Will try to be more consistent for the finale.[/sblock]
