[sblock=ooc]I'm sure it doesn't matter, but I already shifted the guy to AA40 to have him between me and Haltor, so we'd be flanking him. Also knocked him prone.

Also Y30 isn't on the map. :)[/sblock]
[sblock=ooc]I meant Y40. Anyway, Varis will not slide, but keeps the damage. Sorry for missing your post . Just wasted my encounter power :([/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]I doubt you wasted it, given this encounter is already all but over. Besides, I feel like if you end an encounter with any encounter powers left, you're doing something wrong! :)[/sblock]

"Lay down." Varak moves away from their prisoner and charges the remaining warrior.

The group disposes of the last hobgoblin leaving only the bugbear standing, who leans against the far wall, seeming at ease despite the situation.

*Let's call it there, no point wasting time. That turned around a lot quicker than I was expecting. Nice work.

Status:

Gark: 45/48 used 2 surges
Haltor: 20/37
Varis: 24/44
Varak: 33/45,
Harresh: 27/40

B1: -62hp; bloodied, prone dead
B2: -42hp; prone, -2 penalty to attack rolls TENT Harressh.
Bugbear: -83hp - surrendered.
B3: 42/62 hp - dead
[/sblock]

[sblock=Terrain Features]
Ledge: This ledge is 10 feet from the floor, and the walls leading to it are rougher than others in the complex (DC 20 Athletics to climb). A couple of ladders (DC 0 Athletics to climb; DC 15 Acrobatics or Athletics to climb at normal speed) lead up to the ledge. Ladders are at Y42 & Y37 [/sblock]

Gark sheaths his glaive and walks back over to the bugbear. "So, what's your story?"

[sblock=ooc]Who wants to interview this guy? I can intimidate ok if it comes to rolls.

Also, Gark used a total of 3 surges that battle. Given that he's down only 3 HP, I think I'll not use any more.[/sblock]

Haltor looks up at the big bruiser. All the tall landers eat coin. I thought the gobs had turned to honor and all of its trappings? Is mere coin enough these days? Perhaps you tell who gives you this and where they are, and some honor you may retain. For you would have won a victory against those that do no give you enough to do your purpose, instead of tasting ash and blood.

OOC: Diplomacy 12. Perhaps he doesn't understand gobs all that much...

"Pfft, honor. Honor ain't pay the bill collectors or the barkeep. Hahaha, gobs....honor....that's rich. You actually believe that? Good thing I don't believing all that people says about you little folk running around on the Plains, they say you are nothing but a bunch of cannibals. So, you want to know who's in charge? Well, Valsath's running this band, she's been deeper in the forge for a while now. Some human hired us, he's deeper in there as well." the bugbear replies.
