[Adventure] The Cannith Caper (Judge: THB)

Harressh continues to spit ice at the closest warforged, but blind with rage, his aim remains extremely poor.

[sblock=Actions]Dragonfrost vs. Small WF (1d20+9=10, 1d8+11=14) Yeah a natural one, whoo hoo! Harressh's streak of awfulness continues!

Everyone sucks ... all misses

Haltor lets out a loud whoop! as enemies fall. Patting White Eye, they circle around Varak and then barrel down on the last remaining larger 'forged. But this time, some rubble flies up in White Eye's face, causing her to stop up short, leaving Haltor leaning awkwardly on his saddle.

Varis releases a shout at the last warforged with no great effect, before he retreats.

Varak tucks and rolls around the large warforged. As he stands again he slashes out with his blade, before the construct can fully turn around. But the heat from the meteors distracts him, and his blade goes wide. Varak then steps out from between the enemies.

Seeing Varak swiftly maneuver around their foes, Vistrathis steps into the space that his companion vacated. Swinging his blade out wide, the swordmage creates a wall of force that he sends out against his foes.

"Sian'es viani shu'ar'arshu de!"

As the gith speaks the words of power that shape this spell, a section of the force wall shimmers and flows through the warforgeds without effect.

Harressh continues to spit ice at the closest warforged, but blind with rage, his aim remains extremely poor.

The large warforged looks ready to slam Vistrathis when the smaller one says "Combat efficiency will improve by twenty percent if you step there" and the larger one nods, stepping into a flanking maneuver with the smaller one and punches the githyanki, but his attack is dodged by the swordmage.

The smaller warforged looks to take advantage, but Vistrathis turns around quickly and his blade parries the attack.

Everyone goes first. Would you guys prefer a more free-formed Initiative style? I.e. the common Mal's Rules method. I'm indifferent. Regardless you all go first.

Terrain: Rubble on the floor is difficult terrain

Haltor; Vist, Alex, Harresh, Varak, enemies (1d20+6=17, 1d20+6=10, 1d20+4=21, 1d20+4=23, 1d20+8=24, 1d20+5=10) <- I rolled for Alex instead of Varis, still go first[/sblock][/QUOTE]

Haltor manages to right himself, considering himself lucky that the 'forged did not utilize their opening. He slips to the side and makes a flurry of jabs at the larger 'forged, attempting to draw its attention. But little did it know the tricks he had ready...[sblock=OOC]Move to AP48 to flank. Varak does a quick sidestep spinning and slashing at the big 'forges' midsection with his right blade. The half-orc's blade cuts deep,
and he continues to spin, reversing his grip on the weapon in his other hand and thrusting it at the small warforged, cutting it's shoulder. "You'd best surrender now."

[sblock=other players]I still don't know your group tactics. Shall I slide the small warforged 1 sq in any direction?
[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]Whoops, I thought I had already missed this turn. I'll post a fresh miss soon.[/sblock]

[sblock=Walking Dad]We're a new group, I'm not sure we've worked out any tactics. But Harressh has many area burst 1 attacks (including an at will) that he's always looking for a chance to use without hitting friends... in this case sliding the small WF to AP47 would help. (At least before the barbarian whirls into the middle of everything again. ;))[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc/Walking Dad]Actually the other PCs have moved around such that I don't think there's a good spot to push the small warforged for a good area attack. No big deal though, they've done enough damage that I'm going to guess one has been dropped by Harressh's turn anyhow.[/sblock]

Harressh's next burp of ice is more on target, but slides off the warforged's armor.

[sblock=Actions]Dragonfrost vs. Small WF (1d20+9=14, 1d8+11=17) vs Fort, so I'm sure that's yet another miss. Woo hoo![/sblock]
