[Adventure] The Cannith Caper (Judge: THB)

[sblock=ooc]Tock was in fact suggesting checking out the door at CG 113, however it sounds like Haltor may have entered the other room at this point..[/sblock]

The group splits up, Talos, Tock and Mal heading along the south catwalk, Gark and Haltor to the north, and Deimos and Braddock staying in the center.

As they are moving a group of hobgoblins step out from behind the machinery, a female hobgoblin armed with a scimitar and hand-crossbow, a pair of bugbears with large spiked chains, a hobgoblin with a short sword, and a sextet of longbow wielding hobgoblins.

The woman speaks "So, how's about you stop right there? Ok, so here's the thing of it. We got into this place, we got first rights of salvage. You turn around and walk away or we send you packing." the female says.

[sblock=location] From my posted movement earlier I should be in or around P12. Mal didn't really have any intention of entering the room in earnest, just poking his head in. I'm also not sure that Deimos and Braddock even entered.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]ok... it seems there was a lot of conflicting posts from people about actions. It was also very general where everyone was going, like "I step in the room" etc.

maybe it was some confusion over the map. I don't know what to do now. The enemies were staying in hiding until you entered the room. The game was sorta at a stand still for nearly a week now and I was hoping to keep it moving. Let me think on things and I'll get back to it when I get a chance. First thoughts is to have those not name Haltor and Gark back in the pre-room, twidling thumbs and discussing whether to open the south door while the other two are in the room and the hobbos appear. As I said, let me think on things.[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]I'll try to make this easier: Haltor is going into the room. He's a brash sort anyway. I believe Gark was escorting/following, but I'll let [MENTION=9789]evilbob[/MENTION] speak for himself. Others can do as they wish, but Haltor is certainly heading towards that northern door.

(Anyway, Gark and I know there is at least one lady hob/gob/bob in charge somewhere by the name of Valsath from earlier).[/sblock]

Deimos Vrago, Tiefling Wizard (Mage)

Being the new guy, Deimos fights his urge to set the hobgoblin's (or any race for that matter) on fire for the moment.

[sblock=OOC]

If hostilities start, Deimos will cast Flaming Sphere at 4 W

My second character. Needs 2nd approval.

"We better not be here over some kurging salvage rights," Braddock curses.

[sblock=position] Braddock's position is fine on the map. [/sblock]

[sblock=position]Will go with whatever the two I'm with decide for positioning, rather not slow things down much further, also rather not die due to unforeseen teleport accident. ;) [/sblock]
