The Harpy regains consciousness with a start, looking round and taking in the hostile faces gathered round her and the noose around her neck. She swallows and gives a nervous smile, cocking her head, obviously waiting for somebody to tell her what's expected of her.

[sblock=OOC]Anybody who's got questions to ask can ask them - I'll use raion's checks to govern her attitude to the party. But post in the form of IC speech for the questioning please, rather than just an OOC summary - apart from anything else I'm not sure what questions exactly you want to ask, and IC responses should help to clear that up.[/sblock]

The harpy looks a little confused by the question, and speaks quietly with a wary eye on Orsik's hands holding the rope. "Come here? I live here. Always have. The ogre's just an associate, okay? Look, I'm sorry we tangled with you. That stuff isn't up to me - he says jump, I jump. What do you want from me?"

"We're trying to find old Dhakaani temple around here. That group we're asking came here and dissapeared. So, we need to know if they got in scuffle with you lot or moved on and dissapeared somewhere else.

Is there someone over ogre's head that he's afraid of? Is that why he doesn't talk or he really is that simple and knows nothing?"

After the answer (and depending on what she says)
"And what about you? Do you know anything about the temple?"

The harpy makes a sour expression at mention of the temple, and is rather slow to respond. "Yeah... yeah, I remember hearing about some people coming through here and asking about a temple. I guess they didn't see daylight again, but I can tell you that we had nothing to do with it."

"Look. About this temple. It's bad news, okay? Maybe it's just superstition, but folks around here - we don't talk about it, we don't think about it, and we definitely don't go there. And when strangers come around asking about it, that famous warm Khyber's Gate welcome gets a little bit colder."

As best as anybody can tell, the Harpy seems to be on the level with all this.

"As you can see, WE'RE the bad news. Point us in right direction and we'll be out of your hair. And advise that great lug to keep quiet next time if he doesn't want to play nice. We'll just confirm your story with him."

"Fine. Not like I have a choice, right? But you're up the wrong end of the gate. The old temple is about a mile away from here. Head on into the slums and stick to this rock wall - maybe twenty minutes of walking, you'll see a big ugly damn spire sticking up above the shacks. That's where you're headed."
