Growl snarls at Kyvan as lightning arcs from the raging human and singes the druid's fur filling the air with with an acrid stench. In retaliation the great bear spews yet another cloud of locusts over Kyvan and one of his rats, inflicting them with hundreds of painful bites.

realising that Growl is close to falling and seeing Andrec as the greater threat, Kyvan brings his sword around in a wide semi-circle and smashes the warlord into the midst of the rodents and moves quickly into the space now vacant to surround him. "Take him down!" he cries and immediately the rats set upon Andrec with renewed fury, one of them finding a gap in the human's armour through which to sink it's teeth.

After cleaving through yet another of the dire rats, Skalisss nimbly avoids the attacks of it's fellow.

Brother Shane is struck by an arrow loosed from the darkness of the roof above, but it hits with less power than before and barely damages the cleric. Shane attempts to weaken the enemy leader's spirit with a divine curse, but Kyvan's will to too strong.

Growl's armor plates shift back into place, and then the armored bear swipes a paw at the wounded dire rat and brings it down.
