[sblock=ooc] Thanks Garrick, now I just need some input from Gershom/Question Mark as to what action(s) he is taking.
[sblock=Question Mark ] What/who are you going to transform into? (I like to try to find pics to match your current state for your token ^_^ ) Love the character concept of changing "who" you are depending on your mood. Awesome. [/sblock][/sblock]

[sblock=Kalidrev]The personality changing thing is all your fault! :)[/sblock]

Gershom now the last one on the main floor feels the last of his white hot rage subside into a tranquility as deep and unmovable as a glacier. As this happens his feartures change, fur and horn are replaced by a wrinkled and calm face of an older Eladrin.

Kinion walks over to the shaft and looks down, where all the comotion is happening, and sees the one opening at the bottom. Knowing that he is bringing up the rear he will try to climb down so that he can cover the door to prevent escape.

Occ: not his stregenth! lol

[sblock=ooc] Sorry I haven't posted in a while guys, I ended up having to take my wife to the hospital yesterday (asthma) and I have been completely inundated with school work this weekend. I will do my best to post something more substantial on Monday.

HornedTurtle: yeah, I know it's my fault that you're changing personalities so much... but you left the opportunity wide open withi that huge list of personalities you have on your character sheet. It was simply too tempting to NOT do something with =D

Hey Kalidrev, no worries man. Home life comes first. Hope everything is ok. We'll just have to wait before we kick the messenger's arse. :)

Kill the Messenger! Round 2

As Kinion lands on the tiled floor of the lift shaft, the party hears an unfamiliar sound coming from the Messenger like a low whine that quickly builds to a high pitch. The center eye of the messenger opens up and a clear globe flashes with the intensity of the sun. Alexia, mesmerized with the sound, stares intently at the orb when it flashes, causing a deep burning sensation that goes from her eyes all the way to the back of her brain. Garrick and Lo-Kag manage to avert their eyes at the last second. While the others are distracted, the Messenger quickly flies to the north, past Alexia and then, just as suddenly it goes on the offensive, attacking his most vulnerable foe with a flurry of lashing tentacles that wrap around her and begin squeezing the life out of her.

[sblock=Messenger Actions]
- Standard: Blinding Flash, a close burst 5 attack vs Fort that hits Alexia for 6 radiant damage, but misses Garrick and Lo-Kag
- Move: Moves from G4 to D4
- Action Point; Standard Action: Attacks Alexia with Grabbing Lash and hits twice for 17 damage. Because she is hit with both attacks, Alexia is grabbed.

[sblock=Grabbed Condition]
Being grabbed means a creature is immobilized. Unless otherwise noted, a grab lasts until the end of the grabber’s next turn, and the grabber can sustain the grab as a minor action and end it as a free action.

Certain circumstances end a grab: if the grabber is affected by a condition that prevents it from taking opportunity actions, if either the grabber or the creature it’s grabbing moves far enough away that
the grabbed creature is no longer in the grabber’s reach, or if the grabbed creature escapes. See also “Escape” and “Grab”[/sblock]

[sblock=Blinded Condition]
• You grant combat advantage.
• You can’t see any target (your targets have total concealment).
• You take a -10 penalty to Perception checks.
• You can’t flank an enemy.
[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC] Your guyz's turn... kick some butt!

[sblock=ooc]Some questions:

  • We didn't have time for a short rest between this fight and the last, right?
  • Is the blindness a save ends deal?
  • Can we get a map update?
[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]
* Oops! I did forget to add the map! BAD DM, BAD!
* The blindness lasts until the end of the messengers next turn. You guys did not have time for a short rest between the fight and this one, as you had to chase the messenger through the city as soon as you defeated Salesman.
* After reading a few other threads/adventures I have decided that the Skill Check will count towards the number of encounters you have faced, which means that before this fight, you have reached a milestone and gain an Action Point! I have added the map below! [/sblock]
