I say keep working on the skill challenge. We'll keep fighting on our end. We've got things totally under control ;)

Lo-Kag, finds leverage and yanks himself up with such force that he flips in the air and lands squarely on his feet.

(ooc: seems reasonable for rolling a crit on the athletics check...right :) )

In doing so, he sees that he's surrounded by foes. He grins, then screams "Yessss!" with eyes beaming, searching for which foe he wants to attack. "It doesn't get any better than this!" His mood changes however when he doesn't see Gurdan. Pure hatred now masks the face of Lo-Kag as he glares at the tracker. "You'll pay for that with your life." He then abruptly shifts and thrusts his weapon towards the foe to his south.

Damn! We need more hands in here! Shouts Garrick as he continues to stop the fire from spreading through the cart with his bedroll.

Grryths eyes widen in horror as he witnesses his comrades fall from the carts and then watches as the bandits rush over to attempt to dislodge Lo-Kag, who seems to have grabbed on to the side of the train at the last second. Their attempts prove to be futile, and then a vicios grin spreads across Grryths face.

"I don't think so" he shouts as he ducks around one of the bandits to bring him self into a better position. "Eat axe you fools", and he brings his weapons down on the two.

Lo-Kag roars as he observes Grryth's weapons strike not one, but two foes. Turing to the tracker he screams "The tide of battle is turning in our favor you coward! Get off that cannon an fight!"

[sblock=wow] So much has happened since I got off of work. Okay, wow.

Lo-Kag: You need to make a DC 15 Athletics check to pull yourself up because of the velocity of the train whipping you outward. So it is both a move action and a DC 15 Athletics check (made as part of the move action).

As far as healing goes, Gurdan is about 12 squares away from you, so unless your healing power has a range of 20, I don't think you can heal him. It's unfortunate, but he will continue to get farther away as rounds pass. He has already spent his second wind, so unless he rolls a nat 20 on one of his next 2 death saves (so he can spend a healing surge), I don't see any way for him to remain consciousness in time to catch up to the train unless someone finds a way to significantly slow down or stop the train.

I'm at home right now, without all of my maps, so I cannot give an update yet (not until monday), but great work guys! I'll give you a full update as soon as I'm at work! (I know, I need to transfer everything over to a home computer, but I'm waiting until I buy a new laptop for myself for that. The one I'm using now is my wife's and she won't want that stuff on here, lol.) [/sblock]

ok, I've edited my post. Since Gurdan is not within range I deleted the minor action. This allows me to save the inspiring word so that I can use it later. I also added the dc check in the movement action. I think that covers it.

*watches Gurdan tumble away*

...sure you do. Just remember, if you drop, I can't heal you back up.[/sblock]

Sweat begins to pour from Alexia's forehead as the fire begins to take its effect. She wipes her brow, takes a deep breath, and reaches out again to the elemental.

I can let you out, yes. But you need to stop the train first. Slowly. Stop the train, and I'll let you out.

She looks behind her towards where Gurdan had been standing.

Please.

[sblock=Actions]Standard: Bluff check for Skill Challenge 1: 17. Well, that looks even worse.

Virtue of Valor can go to the legible party member with the lowest hp.[/sblock]
