[sblock=Are we there yet?]
Come on, do you actually think that we will get to our destination without having an encounter on the lightning rail? Lightning rail fights are classic Eberron - a must have (that or an airship fight).

[sblock=ooc] Firstly: nope, not there yet. You are traveling a distance that I think would be the equivalent to traveling from Spain to Mongolia (northern China). So it's going to be a few days trip. Secondly: Lightning rail encounters ARE classic Eberron... but you'll just have to wait and see what I have in store for our next encounter. I hope you're all well rested...muahahaha. I'm still building your death the next encounter's map, so please RP just a little longer and I should have this set up by tomorrow![/sblock]

There are currently three NPCs in the cabin with you. The first and most notable of these is Gurdis. The other two are merchants of jewelry (a father and a son) who are headed to Karnath to sell their Brelish wares. They are of Brelish decent and speak in a Brelish accent. They keep to themselves, mostly, as the transforming humanoid and thuggish dragonborn have them unnerved.

[sblock=Perception Check: DC 20]

The cabin you are in dampens most of the sound that comes from outside of the train. Regardless, you can hear a dim sound coming from the north west and the north east that sounds like escaping steam in small busts and in a steady rhythm. Kind of like a "Hushhhhah Hushhhhah Hushhhhah" and it is beginning to accelerate.

[sblock=Arcana DC 20] The sound is familiar to you. The hushing sound is the breathing of an air-elemental engine powering something small, on the scale of a personal vehicle [/sblock]

[sblock=OOC] I need to know your placements for my map. Your available seating areas are anywhere in the "8" or "12" columns, rows "L" through "S". I know you guys already stated where you sat in RP... but I'm not sure how that plays out in my map. If you must, please RP moving around to a more comfortable seat, etc., to match your placement choice. Thanks! [/sblock]

[sblock=ooc] The map is not meant to be added yet (don't want to ruin the surprise), I just want to know where you are sitting based on being in either column 8 or 12 (the benches are along the side of the rail) and between row L and row S [/sblock]
