[Adventure] Trouble in Moonwatch (Judge: THB) - Part II

OOC: Good try Mowgli. We can't control our rolls, but it's the thought that counts.

All of the PCs got their actions done within an hour (course, having only 3 of 5 PCs conscious helps with that). That's gotta be a record.

Just waiting on the DM (unless Velmont and Cabana want to roll their own death saving throws). :) ;) :cool: :D :p

A gout of blood fountains straight into the air, leaving an almost continuous line from ceiling to floor along the wall closest the eerily still gnome. Pok gurgles incomprehensibly, as the wound shoots a second spray, just as strong as the first, along a similar line.

Sheeva's thunder nearly destroyed the constructs, but they are still standing.

The ballista appear on their last legs, but the most damaged construct fires a bolt of lightning at Rumbum, striking him in the back.

Aggghhh! Rumbum shouts loudly as the lightning rips through his body. Angerly, Rumbum spins and counters with a deadly attack of his own. The foe collapses by the shear force of the blow. Rumbum stands over his kill and smiles There...no more lightning from this one. Turning to Sheeva: Now you kill that one...yes.

Feall keeps up the constant stream of invective mutterings as he continues to work on River. Finally, the man's wounds succumb to the killer's rough ministrations. Feall turns his attention to the other fallen member of their party, calculating his odds and how to improve them. He closes his eyes briefly, and becomes hazy and insubstantial - all but disappearing in the fog of war on the temple steps. He then moves a few steps toward Pok's still, bleeding form and takes cover behind the corner.

"Sheeva, take 'em out . . . take 'em out now!"

Just a quick update. Rumbum drops the Ballista.

The Ballista 1 (with 1 hp) is still standing.

Feall stabilizes River, but River already used 2nd wind so it only prevents him from dying. If Sheeva hits the Ballista (shouldn't be hard to do, no pressure ;)) than the battle's over. If KD misses, than one more shot from the mindless construct. [/sblock]
 

"We have to move quickly." Sheeva says as lightning comes out of the darkness and the darkness then disappears.

Yup, that hits. Just...Ok, so this "round" is almost done. death save #2 (1d20=13) ok, now it's done. Pok's @ 1/3 failed saves . River is not dying due to Feall. Feall, Sheeva, and Rumbum are up.

Sheeva pours her only Potion of Healing into River.

OOC: 10 hit points for a healing surge. Been hanging onto that potion since the battle where Feall joined the group.
