Pok ignores the chiding of the over-protective and obstinate Sheeva, concentrating his attempt to harass the eyes and bodies of bugs and crocodile alike.

The winged mosquito horde is almost visible even to those not affected by his spell. Pok concentrates his will power on the spell, pushing through the harmful hex of the snake creature.

[sblock=OOC]

Standard Winged Horde Centered H3, 17 vs will on croc, 22 vs will on bugs, 7 Psychic damage and the target cannot take OA's TE Pok's NT.

Save vs dazed 16

Feall shifts his Ki to his Falchion and quickly flicks two Shrouds over the Shambling Mound. Using the narrow branch on which he's perched as a springboard, the Assassin leaps (1d20+12=31) from the tree and lands neatly beside his enemy, burying his blade deep within the writhing mass of vegetation.

He feels a piece of the creature's soul detach and flow up his black blade, creating an inescapable connection between assassin and target.

Following up quickly on his first attack, the young Drow flickers from sight and reappears instantly on the Mound's other side, driving his Falchion once more deep into the Shambling Mound' mass.

[sblock=OOC]Free: Two Shrouds
Move: Leap from tree to attack (Acrobatics seemed to suit the flavor, though Athletics might be what I needed), land at F8
Standard: ShadowSoul (vs. AC) (1d20+12=28), Damage (4d4+11+2d6.minroll(2)=25)

Spend AP

Standard: Inescapable Shadow (vs. AC) (1d20+12=21) for (4d4+11=18) Damage, Teleport to C8.

Total Damage: 43 (If Inescapable Shadow hit).[/sblock]

Valahad brings his blade up againt the scaled one. The kalashtar ducks beneath the snapping jaws and slashes into the muck-covered scales of the creature's leg. The paladin's blow gives hope to River, who glows with golden light. It was the turning of the battle...and the age.

Standard: virtuous strike including vulnurablity on croc (1d20+14=32, 1d8+11=14)So that hits for 14 damage. Croc gains vulnurable 3 radiant. I gain a +2 to saves until the end of my next turn. Since I attacked and hit with my ardent vow before, I'll also subject the croc to my divine sanction. Also don't forget the ongoing 5 acid damage I did last round.
Minor: Divine Mettle on River to give a save with a +4 bonus.[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC] Wow... even with a -10 to hit, the crock still managed to nail River, huh? What defense do the bugs attack? If it was AC, it should have missed Kortauhk. If it is on of the others... well, what can I do? =P And if that Croc seriously has a +18 to hit... we're screwed, lol. [/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]
Yes, teh croc is a powerful foe (although it should have only been +5... typo, but it still hit) (elite higher level soldier, so good defenses, hp, and attacks). The bugs attack Ref unfortunately for Korthauk (not that they can really do much damage) [/sblock]

[SBLOCK=OOC]+15... Hit River on 5+. That means he has only 20% to miss him :p Ok. I'm not a defender... Hope he won't attack too much River.[/SBLOCK]

[sblock=ooc] lol... well that makes me feel like a crappy defender =P I throw out the big guns and the croc basically ignores them? *pouts* Oh well. Thanks for the info R1. Talk about a reverse F-U ;) [/sblock]

Both of ya quitcha whining and kill that thing already. Sheeva's holding off the BBEG (at least brains-wise if not brawn-wise) and the only bitching she's doing is that Pok walked into (and might have even instigated) an area effect. :lol:

Note: You guys are level 6. Level 8 foes can get to +15 to hit AC. It's pretty sad if you are worried about level 8 or even level 9 foes. We outnumber them 6 to 4. Get er done. ;)
