[Adventure] Trouble in Moonwatch (Judge: THB) - Part II

Feall moves quickly to examine the door on the right, putting the skills he'd learned in this time with the Carnival to work. However, it's been too long and the lock on the door proves to be beyond his ability to open.

Thievery Check (1d20+13=14)

OOC: Not the best time for a natural one, either . . .

After Rumbum takes a couple more practice swings he sees that everyone is active doing something. The thick-headed Rumbum doesn't have the slightest clue what is going on. Noticing Feall is trying to unlock a door, Rumbum runs over and tries to open it with brute force. Rumbum give it a try now. Straining with all of his might....the door doesn't budge.

The door is locked with Pok and Sheeva's efforts. Feall and Rumbum fail to open either door. You hear pounding from the outside of the stone doors just sealed, but for now you appear to have some time.

With the time it takes to complete the ritual, Rumbum could open the non-arcane locked door and Feall can have disabled the other. So again, choices are one that wasn't arcane locked to start, or one that was. [/sblock]

This isn't going to hold, we have to find an escape, quick this way. Pok moves toward the door that had been locked via magic, peeking inside first, to identify a hiding place inside.

This immense chamber was once a chapel. Huge wooden benches have collapsed before a 10-foot-high stone shrine. In the northeast corner, scorch marks mar the floor and the high ceiling. Finely carved reliefs of noble giant kings and queens cover the walls.

You notice a metal symbol in the rubble, bent and tarnished, but still distinguishable. It is a dragon with five chromatic heads.

ooc - you can of course show this to other PC's and reveal this info to them

Tiamat, daughter of Khyber, draconic god of greed and power.Tiamat embodies the evil that lurks in the heart of every dragon and she has the power to corrupt dragons. Chromatic dragons are especially vunerable to her wiles, but any dragon can fall prey to her manipulation
[sblock=Religion DC15]
During the Age of Demons, Tiamat was bound below Argonnessen, Taimat has no exarch on the Council of Ashtakala;[/sblock]

The dragons consider "lesser beings" (non-dragons) worshiping the draconic pantheon to be blasphemy, and have eradicated entire populations for doing so... [/sblock][/sblock][/sblock]
