[Adventure] Trouble in Moonwatch (Judge: THB) - Part II

A grinding of metal on metal rings out as the suit of giantsized plate closest to you begins to move. Two more of the suits of armor detach from the walls at the same time, their rusted halberds raised as they move to attack, but the adventurers are no unseasoned rookies. They have a surprise ready for the predictable trap and react quickly.

Almost as soon as the armor animates Feall disappears, reappearing beside Rumbum and throwing out a noose of shadow. The noose falls short, unfortunately, leaving the hapless assassin feeling very exposed. He quickly draws the shadowy noose back in and throws his arms wide, filling the air around he and the orc with blessed concealing murkiness.

S3 is out of range for this attack, but I figure it missed anyway and this makes for a little different reason than the usual.

When he marks an enemy I'll put the same marker on it. It's a carryover of when I had two defenders to delineate between which one had which foe marked. [/sblock]
 

Stepping into the doorway, Pok nearly jumps out of his skin! WHOA!! exclaims the little wizard, immediately raising his wand and weaving a spell to distract from his presence. Mounds of gold, rare metals, gems, and finely crafted armament begins filling the far end of the room.

As the giant constructs begin moving to guard the high priority materials, Pok begins weaving another strong spell. Whispering counter orders, and creating compulsions to lie down, the gnome attempts to temporarily override the constructs primary objectives with non-sense and counter-productive gibberish.

Pok hastily leaves the room, pressing himself against the outer wall, and gesturing toward River and Sheeva. The gnome holds up three fingers with his wand hand, and then points to himself with the other, and grabs the three fingers. He points to Sheeva, balling his fists together, then throwing his fingers and hands wide, then pointing in the room.

24 vs will on S1, if hit S1 is pulled to Q30-R31 and is immobilized (Save Ends), if this is a miss Pok will use Wand of Accuracy to add 3 to the roll
26 vs will on S2, if hit S2 is pulled to S31-T32
13 vs will on S3



AP Horrid Whispers, centered on S30, targets all three giant constructs,
27 vs will on S1,

25 vs will on S2,
23 vs will on S3, if this is a miss, Pok will use Wand of Accuracy to add 3 to the roll.


if hit the giant constructs take 12 psychic and are slowed and take a -2 penalty to attack rolls (save ends both).

Aftereffect:
Pok knocks the giant construct prone.

If missed the giant constructs are slowed and take a -2 penalty to attack rolls until the end of Pok's next turn.

Minor action Boots of Fencing Master Shift 2 squares to O39 Stealth 32

origin square of visions of avarice changed to R31, due to illegal pull,
Now pulls S2 to R31-S32, Pulls S1 to P31-Q32. Origin square of horrid whispers changed to R31. Everything stays the same otherwise.

It will only pull it at most to T32 / U33 (move N one square then move NW one square). Forced movement cannot force a squeeze through the U31 square and each square of a Pull requires getting closer to the origin square. [/sblock]
