"Ok. I'll stay about eighty feet in front of the group where Feall can see me. I'll stop about a quarter of a mile away from where I think it is and the three of us can then proceed on. Val and River can then follow us maybe ten minutes later."

[sblock=Actions]Sheeva will stay at the edge of the road like before and will continue up it at a slightly slower pace so that she maintains Val's speed. She will be on the opposite side of the road from Feall so that he can easily keep her is sight. Again, as long as she can hear the insects, she'll be moving quietly, but not super quietly and will check around her for anything unexpected, and back to the group often to ensure that she isn't getting to far ahead.[/sblock]

"Pok can give me light as long as he stays close. I don't think they would know that it's not from me. I don't look like a wizard, but anything is possible."

"Pok's light is too bright. It can be seen for miles up here in the mountains. At most you'll need something small that you can hide behind your cloak, just to see the ground at your feet. Or, Feall or River can lead you up the road until we get to the place where we separate."

[sblock=OOC]"Note: In real life, I live 7500 feet above sea level out in the woods with nobody around. I can walk down my unlit dirt road at midnight no problem. There is always enough ambient light to see. Adventurers could easily do this in Eberron where there are 12 moons and a planetary ring, especially on a trail. It really never gets worse than a dim dusk out in the open. I think people are a little bit too worried about light and nighttime here. Everyone but Val should see relatively ok for some distance and even Val could easily see light and dark shapes everywhere, easily enough to walk a trail. Of course, ditto for monsters. ;)[/sblock]

[sblock=Plan]
Just to confirm. The plan is for Val/River to head along the path, the other three stealthing through the brush. The light of Eberron's heavenly bodies would provide enough light to travel by, even fight by (except the enemies have concealment) as an FYI. [/sblock]

Pok feels the little homunculus settle into his hidden spot, and checks his wand for accuracy. Standing the diminutive d'Sivis brought all his stealth training to the forefront of his mind, and began reviewing popular prisoner bondage measures and their most effective countermeasures. This prompted Pok to check his thieving tools, glass cutter, and dagger. *Yup everything in it's place.*

Pok reviews the plan in his mind, not finding flaws, or at least not flaws he'd announce in public. *As the manual says, free the hostages first. *

[sblock=OOC]

Plan is spot on, except Pok is going to get into the tent and release the hostage as his priority.

Kortauhk raises his head and looks around the tent that he is in for his weapons and armor, and looks around to see if he can tell where any of those creatures are. Once he has done that, he will look at his bindings to see what they are made of and try to determine if there is any possible way he could squirm around to loosen them.[/sblock]

[sblock=Kortauhk]
You don't see your weapons or armor in the tent with you. You can hear the creatures talking in an unknown language outside, discussing something, the tone seems angry or combative. The bindings are silk rope, your feet are bound together to a stake in the ground, plus your hands are bound, the rope from it running around the leg rope keeping you from moving upright.

ooc - I did see this post, but didn't want you to get too far ahead ;)

Does my description of the bindings make sense?
[/sblock]

[sblock=R1] Yeah, that makes sense, kind of a sitting hog-tie. *sigh* There's no way I'm getting out of that, lol. He's strong... but not THAT strong. [/sblock]

[sblock=Kal]
Yeah, after the way you killed those other two creatures, they weren't taking any chances...[/sblock]
