Some important things I noticed playing an oath breaker Paladin will be possible, but you will have to work for it somehow.

Explain the thinking behind the new rewards system.

Fe Chen will have a use for down time.

Backgrounds will figure into Renown more, like it won't be just factions, you can be a rank 3 Sage (what this means in practice I have no idea). Backgrounds are more important in general.

Season 8 will be more sand boxy.

In some adventurers you can find spell books, but will still have to copy the spells into your.

Expensive Heavy Armour like Plate and Half Plate are really intended for tier 3 play, you can get it in tier 2, but you have make it a priority.

When do the season's AL adventures usually hit DM Guild? Is it usually around the same time as the book releases? I'm relatively new to AL.

Some more details on the Oath Breaker Paladin subclass, it's the big reward and takes to serious effort to unlock. Much easier would be a Gazer familiar. 4e made Gazer familiars cute, so that is appealing.

I think so, not I haven't tried AL yet, maybe I'll start with DMing some of the DM quest rewards are sweet.

Some modules will drop Oct 2. DDAL08-00 will appear when it appears, it was pulled for editing. ccc-tarot07-01 is up now.
