Adventures at the Mall

I'm looking for some random adventures to run the group through at the mall.

Low magic and doesnt really need a ending.
Ideas or links welcome.

Some I'm throwing around

Crazy guy running around causing havoc
Atempted kidnapping
Thief tries to rob a PC (umm I can use this one, would fit with other ideas)
Mutated pets excape from the pet shop

I love the scene from the movie Evolution with Michael Duchovny (Spelling?) where the flying creature is lose in the mall and they steal some shotguns from the sporting goods department and track it down and kill it. Good stuff, would be fun to play out.

This could be part of the mutant pet story line. You could make them Moreau type creatures. Have a genetics lab under the food court or something and these things got out and start running wild during the week before Christmas. There are possibilities here.

How about a "Radio Shack" (tm) type store that actually sells super-science equipment to those 'in the know'? Aliens could shop there to get replacement parts for their UFO, secret agents could be staking it out to see who goes in, or the PC's (if they are in the know) could need something from the store and encounter foul play.

For some ideas, look at some good B-Movies.

-All the machines come to life and start attacking people.

-Giant murderous tomatoes attack from the food court.
etc.

--Scooby Doo- there's a weird creature of some sort wreaking havoc and scaring everybody away for unknown reasons. It has to be someone in disguise because everyone knows there's no such thing as monsters, is there?

Here's a few more ideas:

-A scam artist pretending to be somebody important asks to see a credit cart/important ID from a PC and later uses the information to assume the identity and/or steal cash from one of th characters' accounts (actually happens IRL at hotels with people pretending to be hotel staff).

-Infestation- there is a strange infestation of creatures from the Other Side (or some other alien lifeforms) and the Feds are trying to make a cover-up of it. The characters directly eye-witness some weird happenings and are now being hunted by the Feds to have them "disappear" before they can spread word of what they saw.

-Fire- there's a fire and everyone's panicking. The fire spreads quickly and endangers the lives of many people. After the fire is taken care of, the cause must be investigated- was it by accident or done by an arsonist with a hidden agenda.

Have someone else's problem run into the mall with the PC's.

For example: A spy ends up hiding in the mall from the evil orginization ACRONYM, who is searching for him. When they find him, they open fire.

A thief stole a holy relic from an aincient temple. It's hidden somewhere in the mall, but the pc's need to find it, and fast.
