Advice Sought: Feat for 18th level wizard

Eridanis

Bard 7/Mod (ret) 10/Mgr 3
I have a wizard 10/human paragon 3/loremaster 4 that will soon level up to 18th character level. I'm wrestling with which feat to take.

I'm torn between Maximize Spell and Twin Spell. (He is the main artillery of the party, but has a fairly general selection of spells; he's not a total blaster mage.) If I take Maximize, I can take Enhance Spell when we go epic (and we will in the next year or two). Thing is, is it even worth it? I turn to wiser heads to get some sound advice, and maybe better suggestions than those two feats.

The character currently has these feats: Spellcasting Prodigy, Improved Initiative, Scribe Scroll (B), Eschew Materials, Spell Focus (evocation), Greater Spell Focus (evocation), Purify Spell, Improved Toughness (as an extra bonus), Sudden Maximize, Spell Penetration, Skill Focus (knowledge (arcana)), Quicken Spell, Greater Spell Penetration.

I've attached my cheatsheet, if anyone wants more info on the character.

Thanks!

Have you considered Empower? Maximize has its uses, but since you've already got Sudden Maximize, Empower is probably more efficient.

No time for crafting items? Craft Wondrous Item is great!

I also like Extraordinary Concentration and Extraordinary Spell Aim, both from Complete Adventurer.

Since you already have Quicken Spell, I wouldn't get Twin Spell, it's too similar. And since you already have Sudden Maximize, I do not know how useful Maximize Spell will be. I don't think wizards have enough feats at epic levels to even take a look at Enhance Spell, there is so much cooler stuff around. :)

I really like Master Staff from the epic list, it's very cool and very useful. So Craft Staff maybe? :D

Another option is Arcane Strike from Complete Warrior. Hey, you can learn Shapechange now.

No time, and no money. The party cleric has Craft Wondrous and Craft Wand, and never gets to use them, as it is.

How about Spell Mastery? For when you lose your spellbooks.

And you could speak to your GM about Wishing for extra feats - 1 Wish for the first, 2 Wishes for the second, 3 for the third, 4 for the 4th, and 5 for the 5th (but no more).

Fiery Burst. If you take meteor swarm as your 9th-level prepared spell, then you can use an unlimited number of 9d6 (max fire spell level) 10'-radius mini fireballs. It's from Complete Mage.

Thanks, all! I definitely have to pick up Complete Mage (I'll have the cash this Friday for it). I'll look through it to see if anything else strikes my fancy, but it sounds like Empower's the way to go.
