Eden better not get it. Everything I've seen about that company has made me dislike them. Their owner is fond of posting personal attacks against people who say they don't like his company/products. He accused people who didn't want to buy his DRMed pdfs of stealing food from his kids. They published a Firefly setting in their annual #1 while simultaneously turning in the folks at QAGS for doing a similar freebie for their website, because they didn't want competition for their unisystem version.

It's really a shame they've got their claws in the Buffy and Angel licenses, because I wouldn't get a book of theirs if they were giving them away. Hope the Stargate license doesn't go down that drain, too.

Me, I'm a d20 Modern man, not a Spycraft man, so I'd probably pick up a new SG1 game with d20 Modern under the hood.

But...ultimately, I question whether the property is popular enough to support an ongoing game line [especially one with such high production values as AEG's line].

I've just seen so many Star Trek games come and go over the years, I guess I've grown wary....

Well, the show still seems to be going strong on Sci Fi. Both shows actually, and they are still interesting and fun even after all this time.

I just hope SOMEONE else gets it and continues the d20 version at least in one form or another...such a great game, though I've only been able to play it once. Guess its time to gather up the rest of the books before they become extremely hard to find.

That's not quite what happened. If you want, do a search on RPGNet for QAGS Firefly to find the thread where the author gives the whole story.
