Here's a trick. Cut the borders down and the 2-page index I posted tapes easily inside the front and rear covers of the print book. That's what I did! :)

Awesome! Not only did the author of the book personally reply to my post, but it was with a helpful tip, and THAT was a tip on how best to use some FREE bonus material from a great book!

That added to the fact I'm on vacation just now, and it makes for one sweet day!

The Toolbox is pretty far up in my "most useful D&D/d20 books" list. It's on the small shelf with my 20 most used books :).

Jeff, is the PDF bookmarked? If so, I'll purchase it right now...

Well, they lost a sale. The PDF is not bookmarked, to my amazed surprise. Sorry about that, I wish I had my say about such things!

While it would be nice to have it bookmarked -as well as every PDF product out there-, Toolbox is still a great resource.

I haven't used it while playing, but I use it heavily while doing prep work or to get ideas for sub-plots or one shots.

Adding navigation tools, look bookmarking and hyperlinking, is definitely key to getting the most use out of an electronic version of a gaming product.

So, out of curiosity, were there any tables in Toolbox you searched for hoping they'd help your game and didn't find in there? Something you really wish we had included?

IDHMBIFOM, but a list of gems, sorted by value with descriptions, along with maybe generic jewelry/art sorted by price. That way folks don't have to give out "8 gems worth 5000gp total". I own the Mother of all Treasure Tables, which is a little too detailed for what I wanted. I was thinking more along the lines of the old Forgotten Realms Adventures 2nd ed hardback appendix, or the 1st ed DMG lists.

Not preciselly what you mentioned, but have you checked out "Tombs!"? (free d20 product, link to it is in my sig). It has about 40 pages of tables to generate treasure and, among other things, has tables of different types of gems with their respective values as well as jewelry.
