After Battlefield Adventures...what other "genre" books?

Didn't WotC license out the Dragon Fist setting, which was wuxia?

Dragon Fist was written by Chris Pramas, and he owns it; he's writing (or already written) the d20 version, which Green Ronin will publish sometime.

Though they've moved on to other projects (Rich Baker, for instance, has finished development work on Eric Boyd's City of Splendors: Waterdeep as well as his work on Lost Empires of Faerûn; Skip Williams has pieces forthcoming in Dungeon Adventures while he works on a project he describes as one "that involves a big shock to the campaign world"), the designers of Races of the Wild remain eager for fan reactions to the new release, due out in February 2005.
It seems Dungeon Adventures will be one of the next books in that line.

I took that to mean Dungeon magazine.

With only "War" to go on, it's hard to figure exactly what is meant by "genre" in this context.

Couple of my thoughts on what would be included (purely conjecture):
1. How to run small combats.
2. Soldier's life in the army
3. Difficulty with food or equipment availabity (ie effects on economy)
4. Leadership prestige classes, war mage, etc.
5. New spells for combat

I would like to see an urban series as many have alluded to. Guild interactions, government corruption, bribery, trade, etc should all be included.

A spin off of the urban idea is a sort of urban underworld. Thieves guilds, gangs, trade, bribery, etc. Oh what thats what I want in an urban setting :D

I would guess Intrigue/Mystery/Social would be next.

At least I hope so.

There's already an "Explorer's Handbook" coming out thats supposed to be an Eberron book, but its impossible to gauage how Eberron specific that would be, and releasing two explorer based books to close to each other would be silly.

Then thered be Swashbuckling/Pirate and Epic Fantasy.

Dungeon Adventures? They have someone working on Dungeon Adventures? Um... what's that going to be, a reprint of pieces of the DMG & PHB in one book? Seem just a wee bit redundant for a game called DUNGEONS & Dragons.

Well, the Draconomicon was pretty cool.

Again, I really think that "Dungeon Adventures" refers to Dungeon magazine.

Although the dungeon crawl is certainly a "Genre" for RPG purposes.

It's going to contain floor plans for lightning rails and other forms of transportation, as well as sample traveling papers. Sounds like they're going to make it very Eberron-specific.
