Against the Giants IN REAL LIFE!

Ok, not really.

But the NY Mets are playing the SF Giants, and everytime I hear the promos for the games, the announcer says "The Mets series against the Giants," which of course makes me think of nine men with clubs and spiked boots going to the glacial rift of the frost giant Jarl.

I bet even Jarl could pitch better than Barry Zito has been these last two seasons.

Anyone else have everyday things that remind them of D&D?

I don't have anything from the media lately, but every time one of my children falls down (which toddlers do a lot of) I tend to comment that they 'Just Failed a Reflex Save' or 'Critical Fumble'!
