Against the Storm, ReRecruited Thread

While this place was good for a private talk, maybe you gentlemen want to relocate to someplace with more song and music to let the evening fade?

While Rahja is waiting for an answer, the waitresses serve another round of wine.

...after these glasses of the finest wine, of course.

Judging Lulo's state, she assumes, that he won't make it very far, tho.

Danilo raises his glass and all drink their wine. "Where do you have in mind?"

(NOTE: if mechanics regarding drinking become necessary, we will use the Tournaments, Fairs, and Tavern rules, which, fortunately for Rahja, are enntirely based on your Con score (rather than incorporating other real-world factors like weight and gender). I don't anticipate it being all that necessary, though, unless you get yourself into a barfight or something.)

Ines continues to scan the room for anyone watching her listen to the door. I know there is something for me to do around here, other then listen to a door that I can bearly hear through! she thinks as she straightens up.

Once more glancing around the room, Ines starts to make her way to the bar. I need a drink!

Oh, there's a nice little establishment in the southern ward. I happen to know, that there will be a renowned bard performing songs of dance tonite. How does that sound?

As she returns to the bar, the man walking in her direction returns to his seat.

Lead the way...

...and so she does.

Rahja will stay close to Danilo, who made a good impression on her, much better than his brother Lulo, who is just rude.

As the evening progresses, more drinks should take care of Lulo. Other than that, he'll only receive a reserved smile and any advances by him will be turned down in a nice way. If Danilo asks Rahja for a dance, she'll happily accept, however. Overall she'll act like a host, trying to make a good impression on everyone with a friendly smile, trivial chatter, more drinks and an occasional dance, obviously favoring Danilo as her dancing partner.

[OO-DM: hmmm, a fast forward...In doing so you relinquish a little bit of control, but I will accept the move and make it happen. You'll just have to trust me for the time being.]

As you leave the inn, Danilo leads all of you to a large red carriage pulled by two black horses. After showing them to a private club, the aforementioned activities commense. The night goes largely as planned, except that in spite of her best efforts to pace herself, Rahja winds up sufficiently drunk that rather than ever arriving home, she wakes up the next morning quite hungover in the carriage, apparently riding rather quickly, altohugh the windows are shuttered tight. As she becomes move aware, she finds that shes laning on Danilo, who is sitting next to her. Gaston is on the other side of her, and Happy is on on facing bench, flanked by Lulo and Horace, both snoring.

Danilo offers her water. "Good morning."

Ines has a drink, and then the man gets up and sits next to her. He takes off his hood, revealing a handsome human man wearing expensive blue clothing, as if he is a nobleman. "Another round for her and an ale for me, barkeep. Greetings, little lady. What brings you here?"

Oohh... Good morning! Rahja casts a faint smile on her dry lips, while snuggling against Danilo. Wow, I guess I should better learn to restrain myself... She grabs the water offered to her and takes a small sip.

Instinctively, she tries to contact her familiar (who might still be in Waterdeep, I suppose, unless he followed her). Meanwhile she looks down to see what she is wearing (note, that she can't wear the same clothes as yesterday, unless she had them on all the time (see her robe's description)).

Mmmh... Where are we now?

Her robe is in its natural form.

Melchior is on the roof. He communicates something to you about being in a city with a sky of stone.

Danilo responds "shhh. Just rest. We are going somewhere else that will be oh so much fun. We will be there soon."

MEanwhile, the man says to Ines "Not the talkative type, Ines Orcfriend? Surprised that I know who you are. You sholdn't be. Your exploits have interested some very powerful people. Now if you will come outsidewith me, my master has a proposal for you that you should find quite tempting."

(Not posts from me till tomarrow nigth I'm afraid...Mithreander: for timeline purposes, I really need some posts from you).
