Yeah, well judging by everything else she does Aggy didn’t get that memo.

She certainly wasn't willing to help the rest of them until she had to, which may or may not be the point of the series for her...

My personal hypothesis (and this is just me coming up with a wild one here) is Wanda could create bodies but not souls, so her children had the souls of Nicholas and Pietro. So "Teen" is both Wanda's conjured son and Agatha's dead son.

Yeah I get that Agatha betrayed her last coven, but I'm pretty sure she didn't do it continuously through her relationship with them, else they never would have gathered for that final betrayal where she took their power.

We get it....Agatha is out for number 1. But clearly she needs the coven to finish the road, after all they need knowledge of all of witchcraft and Agatha certainly didn't know how to make the potion.

But like the second things go wrong (like the microsecond), she is willing to push others under the bus. That's not evil....that's just stupid.

Betray them at the end....sure, go for it. But at the beginning of the road?....what is the point of that.

I think the first betrayal she was relatively young and if not innocent at least naive. She was punished for breaking rules (which I assume was were the rumour of her sacrificing her son for the Darkhold came from) but she maybe wasnt actively betraying her coven at every step - it was only when they blasted her that she stole their power and became the wicked witch she is today. She has spent so long being judged as evil betrayer and playing up to the stereotype that now it has become a habit - she will actively self sobotage even when she knows she needs the new coven

In episode two she tried to goad the other witches into blasting her so she could drain their power, but they weren’t going for it because they knew her reputation. So it’s pretty obvious she will betray the others as soon as she doesn’t need them, and they all know that.

Yeah, right now she seems to be in scorpion-and-the-frog territory, betraying people because it's in her nature even though it's not in her interests. But I think she also just doesn't rate this group's chances of making it successfully to the end of the Road, so she's just minimising her own personal risk.

Interesting that the test had a way to reveal her deception, and that she wasn't expecting it to. I wonder whether she's really traversed the Road before, or if that's merely a part of her legend.

I don't think its likely but I also don't think its implausible.

One of the guys I gamed with, in the past, had an expression. "Lawful Good to the Party." It didn't matter what alignment you were; you had to be able to trust the people in your group. Anyone else was their own look-out.

Or, on a simpler level, people are complicated. I didn't look at how old Nicholas was when he died (and thus how old he'd be now if he lived), but it might be there's some subconscious associations in her head with Teen; that kind of thing can happen with all kinds of people of various moral stances.

Frankly, I felt the authors abandoned the mystery so quickly as they weren't clever enough to write an actual mystery.

Hey. If you don't like it, that's fine.

But taking the dislike, and turning it into an accusation of a personal flaw on the part of the writers? That is uncool.
