Age of Worms book?/Thoughts on AP's

Is War of the Burning Sky going to be released as some sort of compilation when it's done? It sounds like something I would enjoy, but I haven't really been keeping up with it.

There are a few issues regarding that.

First, it's big. Not being limited by the size of a print release, the adventures were as big as the writers wanted them to be (and then I added some stuff that I thought would be cool too), so if we compiled all the adventures -- mind you, I have to guess what the next 4 will end up being pagecount-wise -- it would be bigger than anything a print shop will do for us. So we might do a compilation, but it would probably need to be split into two parts.

Second, I do want to revise some things and fix errata, and a lot of stuff ended up changing between the writing of the original outline and where we are 10 months later. However, we're not sure we'd get enough people to buy a compilation to make it worth the work required for it.

After all, there's the 4e issue. A lot of people are interested to 4e, and aren't as keen on buying 3e products. Everybody is selling less now, since the 4e announcement. It's a little hard to be motivated to do more work if we won't be able to sell the durn there.

I am running this as a PbP in a private forum, and it's going well (albiet slooooowww -- it's my first time DMing a PbP and I never imagined it would take so long. :) -- it seems like RPing is taken to the nth degree when people are typing.)

Anyway... I would LOVE to see some eratta compiled. And for what it's worth, if the updates were significant, and the adventures had some interesting stitching holding them together, then I would buy it, and maybe even LuLu it if it wasn't TOO expensive. I imagine the only way to do print would be POD for a small company like EN Pub and a huge book like this.

My Longcoat pbp game here at ENWorld is a level 1 32-page module. It'll be a year old this month and we're about 3/4 done. You may well be able to pass on your War of the Burning Sky pbp to your children. ;)

Geeeez... No kidding.

I posted some questions about running PbP, to get some feedback, so if you have some time, I'd appreciate it if you could drop by and comment.
