Age of Worms-Who has started

First Post
We began last Sunday. It appears that this will be a very enjoyable AP to GM. My PC's did characters, and made it to the end of the Arcitects level, before we called it a night. I have some ideas about things that will happen when they retire to town for the day. I figure they have spent about 3 hours so far, investigating the Cairn, so it about lunchtime. I am hoping that they will do the Laborers level before leaving, but who knows...Let's all compare notes. I set mine in Greyhawk. I was hoping to get some info from Eric on the Paizo boards about the NPC adventurers, like Tirra and Auric, and their importance in the campaign, but alas, he must be busy. I also was wondering how much and how important the "Free City" was to be, before I put alot of work into printing a map, and studying Greyhawk City. I am sure all the major locations that stuff is to happen, will be covered in the Mag, but I would like to add some color. I am just worried I will do something that affects future episodes...

Just starting the conversion

I've just received mine from my FLGS and started converting the online map PDF's in to jpg's for my Fantasy Grounds campaign.

I expect to start it in the next week or so. It'll be placed in The Forgotten Realms on the Lake of Steam. Free City will be changed to Oeble but I'll use the Game Mechanic's Thieve's Quarter and Cleric's Quarter as my template.

Later,

I'm waiting till I have all 12 parts before I start it. I don't want to do something in the story that is contradicted by something important further down the line.

I wanted to do thet too DL, at least 3 or 4, but I had a TPK in my camapign by some Dread Wraiths...

Greg, if you go to Paizo.com, there is an online supplement with conversion notes for FR...seem really well done.

I alternate GM hats, and David runs FR all the time, so I decided Greyhawk would be a cool change of pace.

What issue starts it off? I'm living in backwaters Europe, so we are several months behind when it comes to stuff like Dungeon and Dragon magazines...

I'm under the impression the Free City is mostly going to be the place PCs go when they need things they can only get in a big city (magic items, resurrection, etc). When I run it, I'll likely place it in Eberron and use Sharn as the big city.

BTW Pat, if you want to borrow something I have a number of 1E things on Greyhawk (including the City of Greyhawk boxed set). Just email John (I know you have his email).

I'm in one of them running here in the PbP section, and there is at least one more starting. Ours is in Eberron, the others may be in greyhawk or FR.

Not the case this time. Unlike the first AP, the writers worked out the plot for the whole campaign beforehand for this one.

Hey Blizz...You are welcome to join us, if you want, just run it by JB....I bought Greyhawk: The adventure begins on eBay, but it did not come with the map book..I found an awesome map of Greyhawk online...Maldins site, but it is not keyed...therefore I wanted to know how much work to do. Eric had mentioned that 1 to several things are going to take place in the "Free City" so, we'll have to hope to hear from him...I saw you on the Paizo boards, but did not know if it was the same David Blizzard...Talk to JB, if you want to play on Sunday nights, I can easily scale it for 5..

Pat

Tell Jon I said "hi", your brother Jon, Lennon too, if you talk to him.

I'm running it as a PbP here if you want to check it out. We just started a few weeks ago, but it's going very quickly for a PbP game; they're already almost done with the Lair of the Architect.
